Enable to add recipes from online sources
Be able to add recipes from online sources, not having to manually copy them all the time.

Unless this feature is added before my next Lifesum annual renewal, I'm heading back to MyFitnessPal. I moved to Lifesum when MFP took away free barcode scanning and I didn't really understand how important the recipe import feature is as well. I am fed up with entering recipes manually- right now, I'm doing it (for free) in MFP, then logging the info in Lifesum, and it's a clunky time sink. Lifesum, you need to listen to your customers before you run out of them!

Samsung Food does this very well, and it's free! Requested since 2016 and no action. C'mon, Lifesum!

7 years later, over 1000 votes and still this feature hasn’t been added. I’m moving to myfitnesspal

The free version of My Fitness Pal even does this. It’s a game changer for the usability of this app. I won’t stay with Lifsum beyond my trial period if importing recipes via a URL isn’t added - it’s too tedious and time consuming to import recipes manually.

This is would increase the likelihood of sticking with the programme, sooooo much bigger

I use Paprica3 for my recipes. To be able to import them via csv or paprica format would make life easier.
To be able to make my own style also would enhance the experience even more -

Why has this still not been added. It would make everything so much easier to track. It would save so much time 🤦♀️

This feature would be an enormous reason to stay with Lifesum. I'm using it since a couple of day now and it starts to feel annoying to add every single ingredient of every single recipe.

Take a look at Familwall for example. Within their app you add a url and the app quickly reads the page an import the recipe, mapping it to the app template. There are some sites that cant be copied but it almost always works

This suggestion is needed! I use Budgetbytes.com and their app (among other sites) and follow a plant-based diet that substitutes many plant-based types of "meat". Trying to type in or re-type all the recipes manually is a pain in the tuchas.
Being able to cross-add recipes would be a terrific, much-needed update!

This seems to be a long time request. LifeSum should get this done.

This would be very helpful as I follow a whole food plant based diet like Forks over knives and the starch solution.or you could add meal plans for these lifestyles.

As a new user I’m feeling very limited by the recipe catalog on the app and will stop using it if it’s not working for my needs. I paid for premium because I thought I would get dirty help and I thought I could sync my Fitbit data. I am frustrated that my steps and food log from my Fitbit will not sync to this paid app.

This is a must feature and would be great if LifeSum partnered with a company like Whisk .. the recipe engine is the focus for them and should help LifeSum focus on the health aspects of the app. The recipe engine in LifeSum gets a 4 out of 10 vote from me because it is so rudimentary :(

I totally agree. This would make it much easier to add and create recipes.

I agree it is very inconvenient to recreate recipes/meals in lifesum to track cals and macros. Consider an integration with Whisk.com which already transposes online recipes into a standardized format.

I really love this app, great for tracking macros and activities. But it is a pain to put recipes in, extremely timeconsuming. It would be very good to have the possibility to import recipes from URL together with nutritional info. I use the premium version but will not continue subscribing if this feature will not be added.

Love everything else about this app. Is easily done by others, please add this feature. I would recommend this app to everyone if included.

I agree. This is a huge failing on the Lifesum app
