  1. No "Low Cholesterol" options

    There is very little in the app with regards to lowering cholesterol. I have done a recipe search, and there is nothing. I have tried a tag of "low cholesterol", and nothing shows up. I am unable to track cholesterol.

    This is a very common issue in the U.S. I think implementing cholesterol options more into your app would greatly benefit a large group of people.

  2. Diet psychology

    noom does this thing where it works out why you are unhealthy based on past habits. Like you eat because you are bored or someone in the family is a food pusher ect. Noom is too expensive so i use lifesum but some of my diet issues are caused by my brain, you need to change the way you think about food as well as learn healthy habbits

  3. Change date after entering

    I usually log my meals every night in bed before sleeping. However there's been so many times where I enter all the food and then realize that it's past midnight and I'm a moron. It would be very useful to have an option to edit or move or change the entire log's date.

  5. Add a journal feature

    Would you consider adding a simple journal feature to track issue that may affect food choices. For instance, I was sick for a few days and it really affected my food choices. Or if a particularly bad days triggers stress eating. I would like to document this with my food to look for triggers or patterns

  6. Bring back old UI for registering food

    With the new update you are making some critical interactions VERY difficult and annoying to use every time I am adding a new food item.

    1. I can no longer select a lower amount than 1 for a food item (a number with decimals), this should always be available since the amount measurement value is not always defined properly by the users, and others should not be punished by that. I used to use this feature every day, but now it makes me want to not log my food since you are forcing me to use whole numbers only.

  7. enter total recipe weight, not just serving number

    hi i make a lot of recipes and i like to be as accurate as possible when tracking. is there a way to enter the total weight of the recipe rather than just the number of servings? so i can more accurately calculate my intake

  8. Fasting statistics

    I would like to be able to see the statistics of my fasting. To get feedback based on your fasting goal and so on. It would be great to be able to go back and see how well you meet your fasting goal for example. This could be visualized similar to other graphs in the statistic tab

  9. Body recomposition (non-weight) goals and configure which body measurements to display

    Once meeting target weight goals, like many, my next goals are tied to further optimising and toning my body shape e.g. increasing muscle mass (currently not available in lifesum) and decreasing body fat (which lifesum captures from my Withings smart scales).

    Currently lifesum only facilitates weight-related goals. Once users have proven to themselves that they can sustainably maintain their goal weight, I'm sure their goals evolve, like mine, and anyone limited to "maintain weight" as a primary goal will inevitably start looking at other apps.

    This is a shame because at least for body fat, lifesum already reads it! However…

  10. Calculate "Average Weight" for a set amount of time.

    For those of us using the app to maintain weight, the day to day fluctuations matter a lot less than the average for the week, or previous ten days. I would like to see an option to display "Average Weight" in Statistics section.

  11. Take into account families

    I have to cook for my 3 kids, me, and my husband. It’d be nice to take parenting into account in the quiz. I’d love to try the meal plans but I can’t cook two meals for every breakfast, lunch and dinner and I can’t afford to shop for separate meals for me and my family.
    I feel like no diet app does this well. You have to sign up and pay and then when you get in and realize that it doesn’t take into account that you have a family and the plans aren’t realistic for parents.

  12. Show maintenance calories and deficit OR option for customizable diet break

    Not only show calorie intake for weight loss but also maintenance calories and deficit. Or even better: include an option for customizable diet break where you can eat at maintenance.

    If it only shows how many calories I can eat, I don't understand what my maintenance would be and what my calorie deficit is.

  15. Curtains for ‘Food’, ‘meals’ and ‘ recipe‘.

    When you register your meal and already have it saved as a favorite. You have to scroll past all your favorites ‘foods’ to even get to ‘meals’. It would be convenient to open and close the different headlines as a curtain so you can easily access the’ foods’, ‘meals’ and ‘recipe’ without scrolling past everything you’ve favored over the years.

  16. Suggested foods to complete the target daily intake

    A suggestion should be made when, for example, 82kcal is missing over the whole day of meals (in this case, 10gr of lipids), a choice should be offered which would correspond to what is missing in kcal (lipids for this example) => example => 10ml of olive oil = 82kcal.
    We always wonder what we can add as healthy foods to reach the goal in kcal / day, so a food suggestion would be welcome :)

    Allow users to set grams as a default tracking method for all items instead of servings. It makes using the app extremely cumbersume

  20. Convert breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks to recipe or meal

    General idea is to convert a food category? (not sure about the termenologi but for example breakfast lunch or dinner) Into a recipe or meal after the fact.

    Making recipe currenly is pretty tiresome. It has happened to me more than once that the app closed itself while i was cooking and it forgot the ingredients and ammounts for what i was making so i had to enter it all again from memory. This way you could just enter your ingredients as you use them and then convert after the fact. Or maybe days later you think to yourself, hey…
