Periodic fast 16/8 Diet

I would like to put a proposal on a diet.
The diet is called Periodic Fasting and has many health benefits and it is world famous . The most common is to go after 16/8 method, whichmeans fasting for 16 hours and have a selected ätarfönster 8 hours.
Excellent for both weight loss and muscle gain through healthy benefits .

I don't see the 16:8 plan on the app, only the 5:2 and 6:1. I am a premium user.

Yes! Would be wonderful! And even more wonderful if we could choose our own amount of fasting hours, or if there was a tracker to start en stop the fasting period. Please, Lifesum, I would love this app even more 😄

Agree, It would be nice if there were other fasting plans than the ones where you fast for a whole day. I get poor ratings in the app - which I hate - because I fast 16:8 (sometimes 18:6). Please add more fasting options!!!

Yes please! Let’s have an intermittent fasting option where we can decide our eating window, like 16/8, 18/6, 20/4 and choose which meal(-s) to skip. Also a option to do OMAD(one meal a day) and ADF(alternate day fasting). And best of all would be to be able to combine the. Like I do 18/6 in combination with ADF, I do 18/6 mon, wed, fri, sat and sun and fast 100% tue and thu.

I too miss this opportunity. this is the reason why I have not taken a premium yet. now I'm just doing the classic calorie diet. but of course that is not enough. I also have the idea that most people do not go for 5/2 but for the more accessible 16/8

Yes, this is needed. I don't eat breakfast and yet my calories are recommended there.

I would love the fast option a lot. I am also doing 16:8 and usually skip my breakfast. So it really annoys me, when the app tells me I should add more kcal for breakfast. Also an advanced fast option would allow for getting rid of other apps. But just the option to skip a meal would help a lot.

The lack of this feature really lowers the value of the app, and I use multiple different apps to compensate, using Lifesum less and less. Hope this gets done so I can come back!

Yes please! I love my 16:8 fast. However when I enter fasting in as my dinner I get “scolded” by the app with a sad face score and am told I’m exceeding my calorie limits per meal for breakfast and lunch since that is where I take in my calories for the day. 14:6 and 16:8 are such popular and widely used systems I was surprised to see only 5:2 as an option.

I have recently started intermittent fasting. I eat through the night, 18.30 to 02.30,and faster during the day. I would like to see Lifesum adapt to this.
