Just came back to Lifesum after a 1,5 year brake to find that this key feature is gone. If its not back within my Premium trial period I'll have to leave and find another app that offers this feature, shame.

dropping this app... it's unacceptable to not be able to choose how much weight to lose per week.

Hi! It has been almost two months now. Any estimated date for this?

I just used the app again after taking a break from it and can't believe this is gone! The app still says that I should eat a few hundred calories instead of leaving that for a deficit, and the calorie deficit it created today for me was 124 calories! It would take me forever to lose any weight based on that math! We should be able to set the daily/weekly deficit manually or at least chose a timed goal, being unable to do this removes all weight loss functionality in this app. Might need to go back to MyFitnessPal.

I would like a feature so I could adjust the time frames in which I'd like to lose or gain weight (reach a milestone or goal). For example if I'm training for an event or needing to lose a couple pounds within a couple weeks of a trip then I could set a goal based on my time frame.

Why does Lifesum team even remove features without asking the user base first? We're paying your salaries. You should ask US first what we want.

Date projections and being able to tweak the daily calorie intake goal in order to alter the date projection is what hooked me the first time I used Lifesum, with great success.
Now I got back to it and there is no date projection, no advice of whether a manually tweaked calorie intake in healthy or realistic, and therefore no sense of progress nor realization. Milestones is a mere segmentation of the progress that I did mentally, but now with no date estimation, therefore pointless in getting me hooked. Bring back this old feature.

Yes please. I don't understand why this program doesn't have this feature, and plan to leave it for one that does.
There's no way to tell what it thinks my basal calorie requirement is, how much daily deficit it thinks I'm running, or how much weight it expects me to lose in what time. These numbers need to be exposed, and either the deficit per day or the weight per time needs to be settable.
I have it on my calendar to leave in May if this is not fixed. -

Seriously. I've used Lifesum before, and it worked great for me. Better than anything I've tried. The main reason it works is because you feel in control. By using a desired weightloss per week you would know how fast you could reach your goal if you stuck with the plan, and how much you'd push it forward if you ate too much. I want to loose a couple of kgs before summer and started using the app again, but now there are these milestones that doesn't help you with anything. I am not a child. I do not need to "celebrate" ten times on the way to my goal. Especially when there is no way of telling how far in the distant future this goal is set.
Is that how you work at lifesum? Do you set goals without deadlines? "Some day we want this functionality in that app with x users, but who cares when as long as we can celebrate all the steps towards that goal".
Please, bring back this feature asap. Keep the mile stones if you want, but let me either set a desired deadline for the weightloss or a desired weightloss per week.
I really regret getting premium before checking that the app had kept all of its functionality.

Hi
Withouth timeframe weight loss I don´t see the need of Lifesum. I have a certain date when I want to reach my goal and without a timeframe I will have to find another company or another App to loose weight. -
