Add quick-tracking macros (fat, protein, carbs)
Currently, the option to quick-track food is only providing the fields title + kcal
An improvement is to also add fat + protein + carbs for quick tracking when the user has this data available
Hi there,
We are happy to announce that we have implemented the macro quick tracking! :)
Please find more information here:

I’d love this feature. I buy fresh ready meals from my gym that tell me the kcals, the protein, carb and fat content but nothing else (e.g no idea what the weight is)
Currently I have to enter a meal with the info I have (including putting an imaginary 100g weight) and then never use it again, despite it having been automatically added as one of my favourites.

I agree with adding quick tracking macros - as essential as creating a meal in Lifesum for a meal you're only going to eat once is daft.

What I really do not like is that if you do not follow the macros and calorie plan per meal in the Lifesum app, then it will say that it is unbalanced. But that is not correct; the macro ratio may actually be on point, but the melan has less calories than planed in the app.
I think it would be better if the user had more freedom to configure the devistion of calories and macros per meal and per day - some like a high proten, low carb breakfast, but then eat more carbs at dinner. Some fast and do not eat at all some meals, but eat more in the eating window. Others like to eat more on a training day vs a non active day. These small changes would make Lifesum the best food tracking app out there. -

I think this would is a critical addition and look forward to being able to use it.

Currently if I follow a recipe and have the nutritional facts available, I can only enter a calorie count as an item. If you're following a meal plan and need to hit certain macro amounts this defeats the purpose of entering the food. The only option is to try and make the entire recipe in the app and hope the macros match the recipe. I should be able to just enter all macros in what would basically be a custom nutrition fact panel so I can track everything.

Currently to add ready made nutrition plan meals you have to create a custom meal then add the macros per 100g. Can you not simply allow adding actual macros per serving?

This is really annoying that this feature isn't in here.
Right now, if I search for a subway sandwich, it's very limited.
the nutritional facts on on their website, they even let your "build" your own nutritional info based on what you put in your sandwich. it gives me the exact carb, fat and protein content. I NEED TO PUT THAT IN The App.I'm also testing MyFitnessPal right now, and they let you easily do this.

A quick add function where you can add Cals and Macros for meals. I buy meal prepped meals and I want to be able to add the macros they provide for the meals

I end up manually entering calories for a lot of my entries, which is fine but I would like to be able to manually add protein, carbohydrates, and fats to the items I’m adding. This would help. The score at the emend of the day isn’t a useful tool without this feature.

I sometimes eat pre-prepared meals from companies like Fresh-n-Lean. The macros are listed on the nutrition label but I can only enter calories manually into the app. Allow users to enter macros as well. I’m having to manually calculate my totals for the day when I eat packaged meals.

I care about tracking macros and they're off if I can't include this!

I make a lot of recipies where I know the macros. It would be nice if I could add a recipe and save it without having to add every single ingredient. I weigh a lot of my foods and so I know approximately how many macros & micros I’m getting.

For people who measure all of their food intake, there should be a way to enter all of the information besides just the calories. Thank you.

Expand “quick add” food link to include all nutrient fields and allow foods with zero calories to be added. This will allow for complete tracking.

Just add it as a food, and then in the category 'ready meals' there is a restaurant option. I would say the meals feature was to record meals - by ingredient rather than as a whole.

Many restaurants will give you the value of your full meal, and instead of searching for the exact ingredients of your meal to recreate it, simply enter the values shown in the menu. Calories, fats, proteins, carbs, ... Simply add these values and you are done.
