Happy to announce that this request has now become reality! With a new beta function through our website, you are now able to export your food data from the past week completely on your own! Access this feature through this link or by logging in on your account on our website: https://lifesum.com/account/export-data
Here’s the data you will receive for the last 7 days:
Food items
Meal type
Calories
Carbs (including sugars and fibers)
Fat (including saturated and unsaturated)
Protein
Potassium
Sodium
Cholesterol
If you want a full export you are still free to reach out to our support team and request your data.

I keep a log for my nutritionist and it will be helpful to be able to export or email my meal diary.

how it's possible no one from lifesum is replying..there are 61 comments asking for the same thing and the only answer it's 1 year old saying this is in the making. Can someone comment on this? at least provide an indication?

Exporting the data would be very very helpful. In my personal case it would be enough to generate a simple export to CSV or JSON etc.. As the data already exist in SQL databases this feature can't be to complicated to release.
Not only would this be helpful but as users (paid or free) we should have the ability to export all the data and see what is beeing tracked and how. Just sayin' ... ;)

I am very surprised this doesn't already exist; every other food/exercise tracker I have tried allows you to download your own data into some sort of database file. For tracking long-term goals, this is a much-needed option. Thanks!

Not sure how LifeSum received so many positive reviews...?
Their customer service is non-exististance. I wish their staff was more helpful in providing a solution to exporting your food dirary.
I wish their staff was more responsive in providing feedback to email. They will not get my $$. -
