Add paleo diet
Eating paleo has a different set of specifics than HFLC and standard diets. Adding this to take into account that the calories and all that may be higher, even when losing weight, would make this app more useful to us who eat paleo.

ouch.. this has been added years ago and still no traction. :( Having had thyroid issues for years and only now reading up where Paleo and AIP are lifestyle changes I need to look at, I was hoping to see this in Lifesum after I joined.

Yes please! My primary care Dr wants me to eat Paleo. I do it mostly AIP.

According to their team page, they only have one nutritionist on staff, so does that mean they only have one nutritional perspective with which to consult? At least with 8fit, I can enter in my diet lifestyle AND my sensitivities and avoidances.
For some reason, I'm allowed to be allergic to wheat/gluten/dairy, but I'm not allowed to remove legumes from my diet? Or coconut? Or sugar?
This really needs to be remedied, Lifesum.

Yes this would be fantastic. From an allergy/ intolerance point of view it would also help to use the app in its full capacity. I'm unable to eat most of the suggestions I get made!

With the popularity of the paleo diet and its close relation to a positive effect for those with ailments such as arthritis, celiac disease, and others, the addition of this option would be GREATLY appreciated. It would likely increase adoption of Lifesum. Please implement this ASAP, even in a 'beta' form if necessary so others like myself can utilize this plan. Thank you!

It would be great if the food rating system could reflect more progressive food values like paleo or ancestral health. It sucks being shamed for eating something high fat or high in cholesterol. It can also be frustrating to have the interface encourage whole grains for someone with gluten intolerance.

I would actually suggest that lifesums' developers take a look at "Health Tracker Pro" and "Health tracker" both have a variety of diets including ones for diabetes and cancer prevention. The app itself isn't very good for tracking though.

Paleo, 6:1 diet and also I would recommend the Mediterranean diet for a more balanced and varied food selection.

You are right! There is a huge market for Paleo, so please add this one! Especially Autoimmune Paleo (AIP) is very popular because ist helps you with big health issues rather than just loosing weight.
