Caffeine tracker
Hey Lifesum Team,
I'd love to have included a caffeine tracker which could help me wein off coffee or help me see how much mg of caffeine I'm actually consuming, so I can track what effect this has on my weight.
Love the app though! Seriously.
Thanks,
Cat

Does adding a coffee add to your water intake? Coffee should count towards the daily water intake and so the app should cater for it.

Can I suggest a caffeine counter instead? As caffeine is found in multiple products (eg tea, red bull, double shot coffee vs single shot coffee, etc).

Synchronize Samsung Health caffeine water tracker
Not from lifesum into SamHealth, but from Health into lifesum, to expand the usability with Galaxy Watch -

I fully support this idea of tracking the caffeine !

You can just enter your first coffee as a snack (I made one with an adjusted portion 'coffee mug home') and change the number during the day.

I think this and https://lifesum.uservoice.com/forums/274566-feedback-ideas/suggestions/10006887-improve-health-kit-integration-read-bmi-bodyfat are basically identical ideas - the integration with Apple Health is just not where it feels like it should be, with quite a few things not read, written, or both.

Adding a coffee (but could be done with cigarettes too for example) daily counter, similar to the vegetables and fruits counters.

I agree too

I’d really like to track my total caffeine for the day without using a separate app.

Having an additional data field for caffeine contents in food items would be great. And then you could track the caffeine in coffee, tee or any other food item.

Agreed! Especially one that has different drinks listed so I don't have to look it up each time.

I would also appreciate this feature. Also if the nutrients (kcal, proteins, fats, ...) could be transfered to Apple health..

This should also make the app know that you should drink more water since both caffeine and alcohol are sucking water from your body

both coffe and tea have benefits, why not have a tracker for them both? :)

This would be super handy to know also, since you can track the amount of coffee you're drinking, but have no idea how much caffeine that equates to. I vote for this too please.

#1 Would be great if Lifesum could write coffee and alcohol to apple helath.
#2. Also good if coffee is as hot key in Apple Watch, in the same way as water
I have just bought Withings Body Cardio and would affect the "Pulse Wave Velocity" results. -

Yes, yes, yes! I wish that Lifesum would write these values! And also read body fat percentage.
Incidentally, which other apps are you using? I would love to know.

I'm compensating with other apps that add this info to the health app while adding it to yours. Getting bored...
