Allow users to update/correct starting weight
When I started tracking my weight lose I weighed 215lbs. Somewhere along the way, the app set my starting weight to 195 (likely user error). Now, I cannot “correct” my starting weight and it feels like I am not getting the motivational credit of all the weight I already lost.
A simple option to “update” my starting weight would likely help those who discover lifesum during their weight loss journey, as well, to track weight already lost.

Yes! I tried out Lifesum a couple of years ago and now all i see is a massive increase in weight. Even though I am steadily loosing some weight, I do not see it in the chart.. quite demotovating..

I'm having the same issue. I have done all the steps that others have posted about with updating my starting weight. I even updated my goal and uninstalled and reinstalled that. It's still shows my starting weight under the goal tracker from 2018 when I first tried this app out. Even though I have updated my starting weight and deleted the other one from 2018 is still shows it on the goal tracker.
I'm one that likes to visually see that I'm making progress because that boosts myself confidence to do better. Right now it shows as if I need to gain weight not lose it. It also tells me that I need to regroup and get back on track which doesn't make you feel good either when I am on track and losing weight right now.

I can’t update my weight at all.I have lost 4 lbs and everytime I try to update weight to current, I get a message saying “Are you sure that’s what you meant? Please try a different number.”

It would be great if you could add decimals to your start weight, so the showcased progress in your weight loss is actually correct. ALSO! You should be able to set a date on the start weight, so this Will be showcased in the graph

Here’s how you can change your starting weight (on iOS).
1. Tap on “Me”
2. drag down the little arrow
3. Tap on “goal” and pick your goal
4. Add your starting weight under “your weight”. Alter your timeline. Tap ‘next’. This will be recorded as your current weight, but no worries:
5. Go back to “Me” and drag the little arrow back up.
6. Scroll down and tap on “Body measurements”
7. Tap on “track body measurements”
8. Tap on “current”
9. Delete the starting weight.
-> This will achieve that your last entered weight (most likely your actual weight) will be recognized by the app as your current weight. But the starting weight will still be considered in the picture that says how much weight you’ve lost. -

Above I explained how this can be done. But, lifesum, please make it easier and also allow decimals with the starting weight. I had to put mine as 66, even though I was at 66.4. Today I entered 65.9, and the app says I lost 0.1kg, even though I lost 0.5.

Yes , the app is confusing to use at first. I need to make changes and/or start over. I don’t have a clue how to reset and start over. There is no help available. It could be a good weight watching tool, but my $50 is lost right from the start as their is no room for input error correction. Also, if you are dissatisfied, too bad!! No refunds!!
