Same Barcode, many foods
Let as register the same barcode with many foods. This is helpful with foods in the same box but with different nutrition information (yogurts fox example). Thank you!

Barcodes are not unique whether they should be or not. Resolve this by location / country and by allowing multiple items, so we can select whats applicable.
Reduce issue of duplications or incorrect records captured under the same barcodes.

I tried scanning my strawberry jam with barcode and it brought a whole different item. 🤔
So yes adding more than one item to the same barcode seems like a good idea, not sure how this happened though, I thought barcodes were unique worldwide.

There needs to be an auditor for the customer entries. I can see multiple approved (check mark) items in a search each with different values for the same item.. it is making the app harder to use quickly .. perhaps a forum group that officially reviews and approves entries ..
Perhaps this is a seperate item since it isn't just multiple items for a barcode -

I frequently scan a barcode and it comes up with a different item.

Great idea!! I scanned a barcode the other day and the information entered for it was wrong so I had to make a custom entry for it.

Yes many of the Australian items I have scanned have been entered incorrectly. It would be nice if you could correct the incorrect enteries by uploading a photo of the nutritional info sticker which could then be verified by lifesum.
I understand the OP's request as sometime items that are the same but different flavor share the same barcode.

I don't know if this suggestion will fix the issue of barcodes connected to foods with incomplete or incorrect information. But if it does, then I am all for it. This is my biggest issue with Lifesum and why I consider going back to Myfitnesspal. It's aggravating when I scan a barcode, only to have to manually search for the correct match. I feel like a spend a lot of time, almost daily, reporting incorrect info.

I don't understand this request at all. Why would you want one barcode for different products with different nutrition? It would not be very accurate. Can someone please explain this to me?
