Meal planner for your own recipes with shopping list
There is a meal planner in the three week diet plan, but why not in general? I would love to have a meal planner where I can choose from my own recipes and if possible also others that are online available. And on top of that the possibility to make a shopping list for the number of days that you wish. I like my produce fresh, so I shop two or three times a week. I don't need a list for a whole week. If this is possible I will be very happy!

I expected this for the premium subscription, to be honest, and the lack of it will probably be the reasonI will move elsewhere once my subscription is up. It’s insane that I have to write a meal plan elsewhere and then register meals here day by day, when the functionality is obviously right there in the app, just not available to me

YES! I guarantee if there was a meal planner for the classic diet option where we could plan our own meals the app would ultimately gain many more premium members. Hope Lifesum will consider this as for a lot of users including myself, it would be very helpful.

Having this feature was one of the reasons I signed up to lifesum premium. It's a bit frustrating that it is unavailable for anything but the short meal plans, of which only one seems to be available to me

If LifeSum partnered with a company like Whisk they could use their engine for exactly that.. it is far superior, and then LifeSum focuses on the health aspects their app is known for

It would be the best nutrition app if could be possible to plan ahead the meals of the week and get a comprehensive shopping list from that. It’s frustrating to pay for premium and find out you still need to use paper and pencil to do that!

Please update the meal planner in order to create shopping lists for your own recipes.
I’ve been handwriting them from the app and I can already feel how this will annoy me in the long run, leading me inevitably to look for other apps to switch to. -

Please listen to feedback Lifesum. Meal planner and shopping list for EVERY diet option is a MUST!! And being able to select which recipes you want to convert to a shopping list if you want to wing it lol. I don't know why we need to ask for it. It seems so instinctive. I've been using the app by saving my favorite recipes and manually making a shopping list. Let me tell you - it's getting old fast and I'm thinking of quitting the app.

This would be perfect for meal preppers. I prep my lunches and breakfasts for the whole entire week every sunday, so i need to be able to do that quickly and easily. Big Oven has an option where you can import a recipe you find on the internet and turn it into a shopping list. I am guessing if you have something similar and add turning the ingredientes and servings into CALS per meal, would be rad.
You could be so much better just with this AND a web interface. Do it! We pay premium for a reason! -

I realise this is an old thread, but I'm going to bump it with my support anyway.
This seems like an obvious value add to the premium features.
The existing meal plans are good, but I honestly have meals I prefer and don't mind front loading them into the app if the payoff is shopping lists and meal planning for my existing custom meals. I'd be willing to pay more money for this feature alone.

Need a planner. I cook all our food so need to be able count all the ingredients.

I've literally just been mulling over this one for the last few weeks! My suggestion would be to implement by integration with existing apps or in-house:
*Weekly meal planner
*Shopping list that allows the customisable break down of the list to store and aisle
*Redesign of the favourites UI to integrate better with Food Search (It's currently a bit messy) plus the addition of an icon on the quick add screen
*Addition of recipes from other sources; create my own + Tastey.co possibly via browser extensions both desktop and mobile -

Also I wish the meal planner was available for any type of diet and kot just in the three week diet.
What I mean is that why cant it ve available with the entire recipe book for starters and be able to filter the options based on what type of diet you want to maintain e.g. mediterranean/keto/low card, etc. Instead of the fixed option for the 3 week diet plan.
I’ve done my 3 weeks with success, but I’m damned to do the exact same noodle shrimp porridge bash over and over again.

I agree! Would be great if there would be suggested meals with the according recipes and then gives me a shopping list. A lot of time I have to look very long for an apropriate meal

I totally agree. For me to create your own meal planner (at least with existing recipes proposed in the app) with the automatically generated shopping list that goes with it, should be a basic feature. I paid for premium thinking I will have access to it and I’m very disappointed. Not mentioning the limited choice of recipe and I can’t follow any diet plan because I’m pescatarian. I should have spend my money for mealime, the free version already propose much more features than the premium Lifesum.
