I vote to have the Ipad version move from vertical mode to landscape and vice versa.

This times a thousand. An awful lot of people use their iPads with keyboards and such these days... but it’s a royal pain in the butt with lifesum!

I was about to sign up for premium on my phone then went to the iPad and no landscape mode... so will not be signing up $$$. This seems simple to do. It makes me concerned that it is a dead app that the developers aren’t working on. Please fix!

It is very annoying if you are working with a keyboard.

Any movement on this?

Lifesum app is completely useless on ipad for those of us who use their ipad with keyboard. Please make it happen. We are not even asking for new layout on landscape or double column. Just make the app rotate in landscape.

I get it. The iPad version is probably not heavily used. But you are not helping matters by delaying landscape mode for so long. Portrait mode is simply inconvenient.
I don’t want to lift and rotate my iPad just to use one app. Let alone scan barcodes. Ideally, I don’t want to hold it at all and leave it in its landscape stand on the kitchen desk.
This has been requested close to 4 years ago. Please make it happen.

Landscape view coupled with split screen is vital functionality especially with new larger iPads. I want to be able to view the app on my iPad Pro in split screen with my Paprika recipe manager and with Safari, as I meal plan my week. This makes it easier to add recipes or nutritional data in advance. Please implement! For a subscription based service, you appear slow to implement updates and your database of foods (especially accurate entries) is woefully limited, especially compared to services such as myfitnesspal and loseit. Had I been able to review this app over a free trial period, I would not have subscribed based upon these 2 factors alone.

It’s 2019 and this still hasn’t been fixed! Come on lifesum, it can’t be that hard!

Yes, I cannot understand why this isn’t implemented already, it is REALLY annoying. If I hadn’t already been a premium member, this lack would have made me look elsewhere for another app.

How was this requested in 2015 and it's still not implemented!? The lack of landscape mode makes the app relatively useless on the iPad. I love Lifesum, but other competitors offer landscape mode (read “The ability to use the app on an iPad”) and that feature alone has a strong pull to it. Please update!

All modern advanced apps implent this feature as the default for iPads. I use one for 95% of my use at home and for tracking apps such as this. It's ridiculous that we have to request this as a "feature". I will certainly not be paying for this app until implemented.

I have stopped using Lifesum for this reason alone.

It would be great if you allow us to use the app in any landscape mode on the iPad.

This is my main annoyance with Lifesum - otherwise love the app and nicely designed. I really hope it is added soon.

I use my iPad in landscape most of the time, which makes the Lifesum app a chicken-or-egg problem for me. Thanks to my Apple Watch, I keep my iPhone in my bag more often these days, so I _want_ to use Lifesum on my iPad more often. But because it isn’t landscape, I don’t. Which probably tells Lifesum that “few people use it on iPad vs iPhone,” so they don’t spend as much time on the iPad version.
Please get Lifesum working in landscape on iPad, and I’m sure you’ll see more use there. Thanks.
