Fix Glitches
Fix glitches. I add my water - then it disappears. My Fitbit tracking is the same. I struggle to get my workout added - then it disappears. I change my calorie limit then the next day it goes back to what the plan wants.

Proper iOS Shortcuts support
The current implementation of Shortcuts on iOS is bad and sadly useless.
I should be able to track everything I need to using iOS shortcuts. This would make tracking way easier as it could also be set up using certain automations with NFC tags.Currently, tracking an item is very annoying. I have read that you have improved the tracking, but not in my opinion. It still takes way too much time and that you are is just awful. (sorry for the harsh words.)
This would also be a reason to cancel my premium subscription, at least for me.

Hectic vibrations like on Nutrition Coach
nutrition coach app has light hectic vibrations when one presses any button. That makes that app feel premium and so good. I wish Lifesum had hectics as well. For example, when I press + icon in the middle, there’s a hectic, but no hectic when I move from “progress” to “diary” and such.
Would be so good to have those hectics!

Display more than 2 items per meal (without the need to press Show more)
I don’t think it makes sense to display only two tracked items per meal, and I have to click show more to see the rest. Most of my meals have 3 or 4 items and it always makes me doubt If the items have been tracked for not, until I realize there are more after I press the button. So, maybe it should show at least 4-5 items before disclosing them? There’s certainly a lot of space for a photo which could be reduced (at least when nothing is uploaded)

Notifications for support messages
Because it takes quite a while for your support team to respond to my chat messages inside the Lifesum app, I’d like to be able to set a notification on my iPhone for when I receive a response from you. I don’t always remember to go back and check for your responses.

Sugar tracker good and bad
To add sugar tracking on this screen shot. Am following sugar detox diet and would be great to see how you are doing each day.

Fasting complication for Apple Watch
It would be really handy to have a complication for Apple Watch that gives you a quick visual summary (e.g., a progress ring) of where you are with your fasting for the day.

German Version more Spacing
If you take for instance the word "Kolenhydrate" it is very long and the box/container is way to small. In relation to UX/UI design this is really bad although the new design looks amazing

Disable jumping to "today" when leaving the app
The iOS app jumps to today when leaving the app. Sounds like a good idea, but is a pain when using it. At least make a button for jumping back to today (like in the iOS calendar app).
In case you don't see the problems, let me list a few I experienced:
You add a meal for yesterday and have to google an ingredient? App jumps to today and therefore adds it to today’s calories.
You are in any other day and tap the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, like accidentally while typing? The app registers the slightest…

wrong day
FOOD LOGGING ERRORS
-Sometimes it doesn't register that I added the food at all even when it shows the success animation on the plus sign
-Sometimes it adds the food but doesn't show it until I close the app and open again.
-Almost always when I add a food after just midnight to what is now yesterday it logs it for the next day and I have to delete it and try again and then it gets it right. It should log against the day I select

Adding analytics for fasting hours and nutrition in the form of a clustered bar chart.
I would like to see time traps represented as a bar chart with a 24-hour vertical breakdown, distinguishing between eating hours and fasting hours. just under calorie statistics.
It would also be extremely convenient to see a bar chart for nutrient types (proteins, fats, carbohydrates) in the form of a separate chart, right below the calorie chart, in the same manner, with bars of different colors representing the consumption of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.

Change color of dark widget
In iOS, dark mode widgets aren’t pitch black, but dark gray. It would look much better in even Lifesum’s widget adopted the default color.

Revamp food item picker screens to make it easier to pick previously used items
Adding food items to a meal is the main task in the app and most people eat often items which they had consumed before. Considering this, the meal picker screens should receive more attention.
It's very time consuming to find and pick items which were used previously. I often need to jump back to another date, look for the exact product name which I used and then search for it again when adding it to another meal.
I suggest to:
* Share the history of used items across all meals. It's frustrating that I can't pick e.g. the cheese which…3 votes -
Add to the calendar ability to mark cheat-days
Add to the calendar ability to mark cheat-days not only with red number instead green, so we can see the difference between slightly excess of calories and real cheat-days.

Export excersie/workouts to Apple health
Currently, Lifesum can read the workout data from Apple Health, but it isn't able to write workout data. It would be great to have this function work both ways. In order to make it show up in both places, I currently need to enter exercise into Apple Health instead, and I would rather be able to just use Lifesum.

Add text recognition
Add capability to directly scan nutritional facts label since most foods must be added manually because information linked to the barcodes is wildly in accurate.

Improved weight entry
Weight entry right now is kind of cumbersome, when you need to press arrows for adjustments - a slider or something similar would make this easier!
Also on iOS I would like the feature that when you longpress on the Lifesum app icon - add a quick-access to “weight entry” for faster registration!
