Add diets for those with allergies, celiac, lactose intolerant, vegetarian, and vegan
We are happy to announce that it is now possible to limit recipe suggestions to vegan/vegetarian by doing the Health test in the app. If you add there that you are vegan/vegetarian you will only see relevant recipes in the app. If you have already done the test earlier and would like to have these settings active, please redo the test.
We will now this request and open a new request just for allergies: https://lifesum.uservoice.com/forums/274566-feedback-ideas/suggestions/17099266-please-add-an-option-in-the-app-for-allergies-lac
Please feel free to leave your vote there so we get a feeling for how many users are still interested in such a feature. Thank you!

i was so excited to try this, since i’m new to keto & tracking my meals- but the thing is, i’m dairy free, too. i’m not finding any options to filter out dairy in my keto plan. bummer

Would love a more extensive allergy filter. I’m trying to go Keto and everybody loves coconut except me. I break out in hives if I have coconut.

Hello Edina,
The health test is available once for free users, after that it is a premium feature. You should be able to find it at the bottom of the profile, or right below the calorie wheel in the diary if you haven't finished it!
Kind Regards,
Alec -

Can I only get the vegan feature if i subscribe to premium? Because I cannot find this health test, nor the diary settings option.

Where is it that you are taking these quizzes Victoria? Perhaps you are doing the plans test. If you go to your settings and go to "Diary Settings", you'll find a setting labelled: "Enable Health test". If you enable it you can find the Health test in your profile, which ,when you take it, will give you the option of vegetarian, vegan or pescetarian! Let me know if you have any questions!

I can't find where this selection is located & just took the quizzes again. About to cancel my plan if nothing is changed.

Come on! It's almost the end of October and "diet idea" was posted on 22th of July. A lot off people around the world still waiting for new update with vegan/vegetarian/lacrose free diet plans.
I started looking for another apps, and almost change my mind about lifesum and go to another app that provide vegan diet plan… -

I must join the chorus and say; Please add a vegetarian diet. Lifesum is a great app, but as a vegetarian through 19 years, it is a shame not to be able to get a more detailed overview of my diet.

Another vegan, here. Without this feature, it makes no sense for me to sign up for a plan, but I really would like to!

Make Lifesum Picks recipe suggestions sensitive to dietary preference. The feature is of limited value when, as a vegetarian, the first recipe I see contains meat.

I agree. Vegetarian and vegan options within the diets would be great. You can eat Vegetarian and vegan and still get plenty of protein and balance.
