Disable jumping to "today" when leaving the app
The iOS app jumps to today when leaving the app. Sounds like a good idea, but is a pain when using it. At least make a button for jumping back to today (like in the iOS calendar app).
In case you don't see the problems, let me list a few I experienced:
You add a meal for yesterday and have to google an ingredient? App jumps to today and therefore adds it to today’s calories.
You are in any other day and tap the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, like accidentally while typing? The app registers the slightest…

Macros
I’d like to have the old macros’ visualization: only the carbs/protein and fat left (for the rest of the day).

Change color of dark widget
In iOS, dark mode widgets aren’t pitch black, but dark gray. It would look much better in even Lifesum’s widget adopted the default color.

Improved weight entry
Weight entry right now is kind of cumbersome, when you need to press arrows for adjustments - a slider or something similar would make this easier!
Also on iOS I would like the feature that when you longpress on the Lifesum app icon - add a quick-access to “weight entry” for faster registration!

Make the tappable area for inputs larger
The inputs for typing calories and macros into quick track are really small and too far to the edge of the screen

Proportion of the macros (in percentage)
In android version of Lifesum there is a proportion of macros in percentage that helps a lot when you are on a keto diet. Unfortunately there is no such in iOS

Improved UX Flow for Adding Food
The food entry flow for this app is pretty difficult. The Search box is tiny compared to anything else on the screen, and everything fights on this screen for hierarchy. My primary use is Searching. Honestly, just make everything searchable. If it's in my recent history, show it in the search results or in typeahead. This tabbed approach also contributes to this jumbled hierarchy.
Second, when I do search query and see "Egg" as a typeahead result, for example, I see a plus sign, I tap on it, and the entire entry vanishes and goes back to the add screen.…

More intelligent meal tracking notifications
Notifications in Lifesum need to become way more intelligent. I just tracked my dinner and 10 minutes later the auto-reminder notification comes on. Why not skip the notification for the meal I already tracked a few minutes ago? I like Lifesum best when it’s helpful when I need it and then gets out of the way. Cheers!

Fix Glitches
Fix glitches. I add my water - then it disappears. My Fitbit tracking is the same. I struggle to get my workout added - then it disappears. I change my calorie limit then the next day it goes back to what the plan wants.

Add text recognition
Add capability to directly scan nutritional facts label since most foods must be added manually because information linked to the barcodes is wildly in accurate.

When starting a new goal I want to be able to use a decimal for current weight
If my weight is 63.5kg, I dont want the starting weight to be set to 64kg. There used to the option of just writing the current weight but it's not there anymore.

Best management with Apple watch and widgets
I'm a life sum user from 4 years now and I would love to have a better apple watch app. For example it will be awesome the possibility to add favourites food. Another thing is the apple watch complications that in my case (apple watch SE) don't work. It would be nice to have complications with calories and macros separately.
In the end I would love better widgets for iPhone.1 vote -
Select recent food by calendar and meal
When adding food, next to recent, there should be a magnifying glass that, when clicked, brings up a calendar. Clicking a date on the calendar lists the meals. Clicking the meal lists the items added for that meal. Clicking the items would bring up the dialog to edit and add to the current meal.

Automatic portion calculation
I’ve used MyFitnessPall a lot and i am very much missing the automatic portion calculator, which the Lifesum app does not have. As example; It means that you can add a meal or product, with a total of 275 grams. When you choose in Lifesum for 1/2 portion, you also have to fill in the grams yourself (and calculate). In MyFitnessPall (didn’t know how much i would miss this feature, but never thought Lifesum would not have it before i’d bought a 12-month pay :)) they’ll calculate automatic what 1/2 is of the chosen poetion. Also 3/4 of the example…
