Food icons
It could be very useful if each food item had an icon. It may be difficult for some foods but the visuak queues would allow quick identification for many popular items instead of always having to rely on scanning text.

Average weekly weight
One of the common ways to track your weight when doing it manually is to average out the weight over all the days of the week to counteract the weight fluctuations that occur on a day to day basis.
Being able to see this in the app would make it much easier to see if the weight is moving in the desired direction.
Right now it can be a little confusing if the "one month ago" weight happens to have been on a low or high day with the fluctuations.3 votes -
Exercise
There should be an option to exclude half of your exercise calories. Currently it’s all or nothing which is not really helpful, as I would be starving if I excluded all my exercise from my daily calorie goal, but I am not going to lose weight if I eat all the calories I burned through exercise each day.

Allow Personal Food Creation
Why can’t I create my own foods without needing a barcode that is locked to your inaccurate database?
I have ingredients that I want to add specific accurate values for, like boiled red lentils, which I cannot add because you demand a barcode. The verified “Red Lentils” in your database has ridiculously high values.
Also, your database makes creating meals impossible because I can’t simply add my own ingredients and the final result is a meal that doesn’t exist in reality.
This is the only reason why I bought an annual subscription. I thought this feature was included.

Reflux/GERD/LPR symptoms tracker
Add feature for tracking symptoms related to acid reflux for each meal. And get statistics over what foods trigger your symptoms. This could be expanded to include other food-related illnesses as well.

Jag vill ha tillbaka statistiken över viktutvecklingen, tidigare kunde jag se all registrerad vikt sedan flera år tillbaka,Ä
Jag vill kunna se all registrerad data över min vikt igen, det var den statistiken som jag tittade på mest och som peppade mig att försöka hålla igen på maten och registrera saker i appen. Nu kan jag bara se de senaste veckorna.

More intelligent meal tracking notifications
Notifications in Lifesum need to become way more intelligent. I just tracked my dinner and 10 minutes later the auto-reminder notification comes on. Why not skip the notification for the meal I already tracked a few minutes ago? I like Lifesum best when it’s helpful when I need it and then gets out of the way. Cheers!

Give users the option to save Quick Entry foods as favorites.

Nutrition Facts/Label Order
Reorder data entry fields to match standardized macro order (Fats, Carbs, Protein) common in US/UK/EU. The food database being user-generated leaves room for errors; edits cannot be made on existing foods to correct them.

Weight loss surgery
It would be nice to see a diet plan for those who have had weight loss surgery (sleeve, bypass, ect.). Our calories, protein, and fat intake are very different, so it would be nice if we can adjust it to our needs.

Improved weight entry
Weight entry right now is kind of cumbersome, when you need to press arrows for adjustments - a slider or something similar would make this easier!
Also on iOS I would like the feature that when you longpress on the Lifesum app icon - add a quick-access to “weight entry” for faster registration!

Add your own recipes to the meal plan
Meal planner isn't very useful to me because the recipe variety is so small.

Add "log complete" checkbox
Make it so to finish logging you need to ✅ a checkbox. First of all it's satisfying. Second of all, this way fasting isn't seen as a streak breaker. And third of all, and most importantly, the streak doesn't keep going when i log incomplete information!

Saturated fat goals
It would be nice to set goals for saturated fat, sugar and sodium like we do for carbs, protein and general fat.

*Perfect*
Used to come up with the word 'Perfect' when I ate a perfect amount for each meal.
Now it doesn't and it's very discouraging.
I used to love swiping back and seeing how often I was perfect.
I have noticed a little star 💫 animation appears instead but it's only for a second and doesn't stay.1 vote
