Add option to be able to deactivate the Rating system by choice
Rating should be optional, not mandatory

I know that food ratings are motivational to some but also provide a potential danger for those who are susceptible or already battle eating disorders or other disorders such as OCD. By having the option to turn off the smiles or food ratings— users can decide if viewing that rating is beneficial to their well-being or not. Please consider this! Thank you.

Have an option to turn off (just not view in my daily) ratings. I'm using this app to make sure I'm just getting enough calories. The letter grades are honestly discouraging.

A way to track intermittent fasting and extended fasting would be nice

The health rating is so flawed and not helpful. Where sprite, coke, bacon, sausages are rated A, but half of glass of milk is B. I cant trust the rating so is not helpful to pick an better options for meal

Yes please make it optional. I dont need nobody to judge my meals or my day. Seeing all the nutritions I am well able to make that judgement for myself. I dont want the App to tell me. I really loved the App but with this new feature I get discouraged and angry every time I enter a meal. I really dont want to search for a new App but surely will if i cant opt out of this. Especially since nutrition information quite often is not even correct. How can the App dare to make judgements or comments like "missed your goal" when the background information is not even correct. Sorry, but I surely know better than livesum does!!!

Completely agree.
The system is heavily flawed at the moment and so makes what used to be a superb experience something unpleasant. So unpleasant, in fact, that I now dislike using the app.
I completely understand the spirit of what is trying to be done but it needs to be optional for those of us who are not benefitting.

Irritating to be lectured like that when some of the ratings are just nonsensical. E rating for my breakfast of 125g nonfat zero sugar yoghurt, 2 pieces of weetabix and a shot of espresso... B rating for a slice of raisin bread Huh...? leave me alone!!

Huge regression from a UX point of view. Adding meals for the whole day has become a pain. Please, make it optional or re-think the whole process in order to bring the simplified UX back.

Other features are optional, why not this one?? The A,B,C... rating for single meals is great, especially as I am pretty new to a HFLC diet and shopping at the supermarket being able to check barcodes helps a lot, don't want to miss this feature. But when I have a per diem advice for the intake of carbs, fat and protein I think I am adult enough to decide with which meal I take how much. Telling me my breakfast of black coffee (talk intermittent fasting) is a D (whereas the coffee itself is an A!) is not only useless but highly annoying.
Plus, with all these little symbols and added steps, navigating has become too time consuming. Please take some steps back - if your intent is to have happy users! -

Please remove or make it optional, it is very individual what food is healthy or not!
Now we need more clicks to add food. It was better before. -

I find this new feature very condescending. I am a trained health professionsal and know perfectly what I ought to eat. Please remove this new feature or I must find another app for calorie counting.

Dear Lifesum team, (sorry my english could be better, german see below)
I loved the app as it was, except for a few mistakes/problems I have with apple watch. Please bring back the latest version, or make the "Health Rating“ optional, for foods, recipes and the daily rating.
The idea may be good at the core, to give members an opportunity to lead a better, healthier lifestyle, but you are clearly overshooting the target.
As a responsible citizen I would not have to say a software that I, despite being overweight and Shifted, my now healthier eating habits (rich in fruits and vegetables, less meat, and as good as no industrially, produced food) now called "bad", especially because I do not eat before I am hungry and therefore not achieving my calorie goal. I think it is extremely positive to undercut my calorie goal by, among other things, I move a lot more. An app that hinders me in my efforts, or rather demotivated us is not helpful. MOTIVATION IS A MUST if you want to achieve goals. I was motivated and was able to cut 10 kg in 7 weeks, for me this is an success story without health rating.
To demotivate me for a positive result and on top of that paid for the Gold account money in advance in order to be no longer able to escape the Health rating is demotivating und frustrating!- Is that what we could/should expect for the future of Lifesum?
Liebes Lifesum Team,
