Alcohol is part of a regular diet also.

One drink a day can be included in a healthy diet, for tracking purposes it would be brilliant to be able to look back & see how much alcohol we consumed in a week & how it impacted our overall intake & health. Also if we ate more on those days that we drank more

Alcohol can slow metabolism. I have tracked my calories and still gained weight. I’m not consuming excessive calories. The math doesn’t add up without accounting for alcohol. A quick web search shows how alcohol changes metabolism more than calories alone.
