Pay people to accurately add many food facts
Incentives for people to scan and enter new foods with accurate nutrition. Incentives for people to add restaurants menus and nutritional information. Incentives for people to add well written recipes and calculate nutrition.
There are a lot of foods that are off.

Totally agree with this request. There is too many wrong information in the app.

Agreed! This is one of my main frustrations. The whole point of the app is to easily scan a product into one of your meals, but now I am spending a lot of time correcting meals. More effort should put into the quality of the meal information.

Yikes, seeing this from 2017 isn’t good. Just bounced off the app today because the food DB is so incorrect and small. Would looove to subscribe to Lifesum but the food DB is just plain bad.

Agree 110% and also as auditors of foods that have already been entered there are multiple that are showing a check mark but different values for the exact same ingredient

This has my vote too. Pretty much the main thing holding lifesum back from being as good as/better than my fitness Pal - which has a much better nutrition database. Support - please look to impliment - over 360 votes!

Ugh, there are so many that are ghastly wrong. Scan a bag of veggies, get a chocolate cake in the results.
Either incentivize correcting results with free premium membership or just pay some employees to actually spell check, curate, or nutrient check those things

Agreed, I can't even guess how often I have to compare things with something in reality and then later hope I remembered to fav the correct one in order to not continue to use the busted ones. It would also be nice if the "report" option on foods would show some sort of rating based on how many users have flagged an item as wrong until it's fixed. Or allowing people to upvote it as accurate - something to help at least push the higher rated things to the top of search results until your team can clean up the dirty data.

I agree. There are so many inaccuracies. Ex: I scanned my coffee today just out of curiosity and it said it was 90 calories.
I feel like I have to double check everything. It’s frustrating.
This app design is beautiful, but the nutritional database is terrible.
