The food entry system is jacked in other ways (like limitations to types of characters you can use in the custom serving and the limited options in the default serving choices) but you then set the grams. Just make everything with custom serving, call it “serving” or “quarter cup” or whatever and then YOU tell it how many grams it is. I just had to test making a food and am looking at the screen right now because I couldn’t believe how many people upvoted this. If you think this is how it works, email me an example and I’ll send you a screen recording of doing it without any 100g nonsense.

An error occurred while saving the comment Margot commentedPLEASE move favorites to the bottom instead of plans. It's so many unnecessary steps to have to go to "Me" and then scroll to the bottom and THEN click favorites. It should be one of the primary buttons at the bottom, not plans.

An error occurred while saving the comment Margot commentedWhich version of the app are you on? I'm on iOS and I edit my recipes constantly. I never have the exact same amount of a vegetable, for example, so every time I make something, I edit it to suit the exact quantity that I have. Or I switch up the type of flour in pancakes or the fruit in a smoothie, where it's the same quantity but of something else. Whatever, editing things is super useful! It's definitely there, in iOS anyway.
The edit button is right there next to the "add to diary" button. I wish uservoice supported adding screenshots, because that would be helpful.

I should specify that I am on iOS. Is the Android app different? Different apps with different features is the only reason I can think of that so many people think you can only create foods of 100g quantities and have to calculate the other nutrients to that scale. Unless you're using a really really old version of the app?
