Ability to add own recipes, meals, food items
Maybe this already in the app, but I wasn't able to find it. I make a lot of my own food. I would like to be able to enter the recipe or import it from a source and get the nutritionals available for use in the Lifesum diary as food I've consumed.
Thanks!
Thank you very much for reaching out!
You find the option to create your own recipes, meals or/and food items under Me / Favorites in the app.
Please find detailed instructions below:

I would like to add my own recipes and for the app to work out calories per portion and nutritional information. I had this option on Nutracheck app. and it was very helpful as a vegan who cooks all meals alone and are not shop bought. I am a premium member

This is a major feature found in other apps, and is missing from Lifesum. Being that this is a paid app, I hope it will be considered.

When putting a recipie In the meal «tab» you should be able to incert how many portions the meal is so that you in an easy way can choose how much of the meal is a portion. For instance i have put in a recepie of a nut bread, if I could put in either number of portions or gram’s per portion It would be easy to log a small portion of the recepie. My work arround is to put in the total recepie save It as a meal, then delet it then put in for instance 0,06 portion of the meal.

Add foods on our own that don’t have barcodes or pop up in the generated list so we can track macros

I would like to add my own recipe and have it figure out the servings macros. I am also a member of Green Chef and would appreciate it if I could add those menus as well

Please allow adding recipes to a meal

As a corollary to this, it would be terrific if I could enter my recipes from Blue Apron which include detailed nutritional content.

In recepies, IT wold be nice to be able to edit. Ie change one or more ingredients like meat for fish. And also be able to register a hole recepie and then add a portion/gram to meal

I had the very same idea! It would be more than helpful especially for meal preps. I love the „what xou had yesterday“ feature but adding/creating own recipes would definitively make everything so much easier and I would continue paying for my premium membership because this would be the one feature missing for me to pay for the account.

Ability to create my own recipes will allow me to quickly add meals that I make often. No need to add all the ingredients separately every time.

It would be nice to import recipes from websites, especially the ones that have the nutritional values.

I would be happe if you 1) got a desk version and 2) had the oputunity to write my own products e.g. granola. I make my own granola and therefore I cannot assume that the calorie amount is the same as your pre typed granola is.

I'm a meal prepper and this would be useful. Or at least have the ability to add/remove components of recipes easily...

Would love to be add an entire meal. Especially when more recipe books have the nutritional content. Ie Jamie Oliver. My fitness pal allows you to add nutritional content rather than having to add each ingredient

Absolutely this - for meal preppers this is a no brainer. e.g. I made bolognese sauce yesterday and cannot add it to a pre-logged meal with the veg that goes with it. My workaround is to put the qty of bolognese in the meal title so I can remember to log the recipe portion separately but that's just an extra step that shouldn't be necessary.
