Fasting mode ideas
I'd like to be able to set up custom hours and have them saved.
There should be a 24-hour fast option (considering you have meal plans that are 1:6 and 2:5) And it should bring up the fasting circle if you're on those meal plans.
I would love to be able to set up a weekly schedule so I want to do a 24-hour fast on Tuesday and Thursday and the rest of the days be normal.
Negatives about the intermittent fasting meal plans:
I tried using the 2:5 meal plan but it overcompensates on the other days and increases my calorie count which negates the reason for fasting. The whole point of intermittent fasting so that that day you don't consume very many calories, making the calories for the overall week a deficit. I would also like to set the calories to zero or 100.
Negatives about fasting mode:
I have the fasting mode turned on and I am fasting, so why are you reminding me to log my meals? I'm not eating lunch I'm fasting! I don't need a snack I'm fasting! It just makes it worse to remind me about food when I'm trying to deal with cravings.
Also recommend increasing the notifications about water while fasting, or allowing an option in the fasting window to say remind me every X hours to drink water.
If you could also add a home screen widget for the fasting circle
Currently I'm using the only widget you have, so I tap on that it immediately takes me into add a food so I have to back out of that scroll back to the top and then tap on fasting.
It would be cool if instead of telling me about lunch or dinner or whatever you could automatically add a entry that is fasting for that meal so it doesn't remind me. And maybe have some encouraging notifications like "you have fasted for 12 hours and have entered ketosis" with a little bit of a blurb of what that means.
