I would love to be able to create my own Diet, useful for us that are carb and calorie cycling under the week.
Custom Diet

We don't want to just adjust the macros. Creating a custom diet is a must. Specially if you have more than 4 meals a day and need very specific macros for each

I can’t believe it’s 2022 and this feature still isn’t available. They reply that you can change your macros/etc when that’s clearly not the point…
I don’t want to use the predetermined diets on the app, I want to use my own recipes, the meals that we’re used to eat in our own cultures/families/countries. Don’t just assume that we all eat the same things and that everything is available for everyone everywhere.
I want to be able to meal prep and have my grocery list and build my own meal plan with the things I want but this isn’t available and, after more than 2 years of paying for the premium subscription no, I still feel that I’m getting the most out of this app. Please, make it happen

Make sure you read the comment from the Lifesum team!-- I am on HCG 2.0 and was able to set my calories as well as my macros. -- It did not like the low calories, but you just say ok, and viola-- Thank you for answering Lifesum

Hi,
You can define your own macros under Settings/Nutrition Settings/Change values
This is possible in the Standard diet.
In addition you can set your own calorie goal manually under Settings/Personal details/ Calories/Day
Best,

I totally agree with this one, I went to a nutritionist before knowing about Lifesum and I want to use the plan she gave me and that I paid for.

Yes, the app needs to take into account variable calorie intake. So, being able to set a calorie range each day basically.
Also, this app's pre-programmed 5:2 diet doesn't allow for two consecutive days of calorie restriction.. Which isn't necessarily correct.
Either way, users should be able to specify their own calorie guidelines to each specific day of the week.

Dear Sebastian,
I think Ase was talking about custom daily intake for carb cycling. It means macros and calories intake varies every day. The only app I know which allows it is MyFitnessPal. But the interface and logic is not as good as here.
Will you ever consider implementing this feature?Valerie
