Is there a way for the app to log fitbit steps and not just the exercises? That would be most helpful.
Have tye fitbit steps count in the lifesum app. That would be very helpful keeping up with the accuracy of calories burned.

Bug: The meals keep shuffling around when entering the diary screen
The meals keep reshuffling for about a second every time the diary screen is opened / appearing. After this second they are always in the correct order.
It's quite irritating and annoying as this is one second where I need to pause my interaction with the app.10 votes -
Restore previous interface
The black and white clip art icons are absolutely terrible. The water glasses look blurry. The clip art icons and the style of the water glasses don't even look cohesive, they look like random parts of different apps thrown together. These particular serif and sans serif fonts don't work well together. It was easier to read/less jarring when it was all in the sans serif font.
Please bring back the old interface that was appropriately colorful, easier to read, and looked like it was designed in this century. At the very least, please give users the option to use the interface they prefer.

Bring back the old UI (iOS)
With the old design, I could see with one glance if or how many kcal I'm over. Now the circle/ring doesn't go over the filled kcal ring (you know what I mean?); it just says the amount I'm over, but at first glance, it looks exactly like the kcal I have left.
Additionally, the water tracker/glasses look horrible. I liked the old design a million times more.

Stop demonizing food: at least make it optional to remove the emojis.
This app for me is mainly for counting calories, making sure that I hit my numbers correctly. But it always upsets me when 'm adding my recipes. For example: if I want to add that I cooked with one tbsp olive oil it gives me the "☹️" or used soy "😐" or god forbid I have a portion of carbohydrates "☹️"
I have a history of eating disorders, I had my "safe" foods (basically only fruits & vegetables) and everything else was, in my disordered way of thinking, bad.
Now I know better, but do you? Because according to your own app I shouldn't have anything that isn't vegetables or fruits. How is that healthy?
Again, I use this to count my calories, not as a strict rule book on what I should and shouldn't eat. I don't need those damn emojis to make me feel bad/shameful for cooking with some oil. It's beyond triggering for my mental health and it's the one reason why I always delete the app: it promotes a very toxic relationship to food.
Now, I understand you may have arguments to why it's necessary for some people to have a visual cue, but the good does not outweigh the bad. I would be so thankful and happy to be able to turn those emojis off, so I can count my calories in a way that doesn't make me feel bad for eating.

A tile for WearOS, Customized quick meal calories
A tile for wear OS would be ideal... It only has to look exactly how it does, except I can put it on my watch face.
And since we can only add 'quick calories' from our watch, that are already pre-determined, it would be nice to customize those Calories for what we know our common meals are. My small breakfast is the exact same every day, I could set that calorie amount to the 'small breakfast' option on my watch and not have to get out my phone.9 votes -
Rewarding referring friends to Lifesum
There is a “Sharing is caring” button to invite friends to Lifesum but no reward for doing so. How about a small discount for the next premium renewal fee? The more you (successfully) refer the more you get rewarded? It’s win-win…

Life score recomandations should say if you have eaten to much or too little
When you read about ways to improve your life score, it does tell you what is in balance and what is not. When it says something is unbalanced, is should also give an indication if one eats too much or too little of the unbalanced group of food.

Possibility to see the food Barcode
I would like to see the barcode of all the food. Could be useful to share it with other users who didn't read the barcode or to compare the list of food and check if I'm selecting the right one comparing it with the food box.

Allow for more fruit and vegetable consumption than our goal
Allow people to track more fruits and vegetables than what they're aiming for. For instance, I'd like to be able to track 5 fruits in a day, even though my goal is 3. This is already possible with water (where new glasses of water appear when the goal is reached).
As it currently is, we can't track our actual consumption of fruits and vegetables because we have to stop counting as soon as we reach our goal.9 votes -
Easier to understand measurements
When I look at the ingredients for my meal I'll see ill have to get 5.3 oz or 150 grams of chicken or potatoes or carrots. Is there a way to simplify it to say "one medium sized potato" or 3carrots? Maybe even add Lbs. To the measurements to make it more understandable for people in the USA to understand

Add option to register weight of recipe
It would be nice if one could set weight instead of portions when registering a recipe.
That way you could just put a dish on a scale and weigh it, and register that as your meal.
I do know that it should recommend you put in the post-preparation weight.9 votes
