FOOD LOGGING ERRORS
-Sometimes it doesn't register that I added the food at all even when it shows the success animation on the plus sign
-Sometimes it adds the food but doesn't show it until I close the app and open again.
-Almost always when I add a food after just midnight to what is now yesterday it logs it for the next day and I have to delete it and try again and then it gets it right. It should log against the day I select

Make it possible to add recipes and make corrections to exsisting ingredients using the web interface.
It would be great to be able to use the web side for adding recipes to my account/profile and to make corrections to exsisting ingredients.

Convert breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks to recipe or meal
General idea is to convert a food category? (not sure about the termenologi but for example breakfast lunch or dinner) Into a recipe or meal after the fact.
Making recipe currenly is pretty tiresome. It has happened to me more than once that the app closed itself while i was cooking and it forgot the ingredients and ammounts for what i was making so i had to enter it all again from memory. This way you could just enter your ingredients as you use them and then convert after the fact. Or maybe days later you think to yourself, hey i basically ate the same thing last wednesday i can just make that into a recipe and tweak the ingredient ammounts.

Add more allergies
The current list of intolerances and allergies is missing a few of the big ones, could this be expanded?
This could include Soy, Red Meat, sesame?

Caffeine Tracking
Water tracker, but for caffeine! Would love to be able to quick-track how many cups of coffee, soda, or caffeinated beverages I've had each day.

see what food brings the different vaules (f.ex. fat, kalium etc)
it would be great if you could click on the nutrients (f. ex. 120g of fat or 450g of carbs) and then get a list what foods did lead to that amount...
for example: you have 120g of fat in one day... and at the end of the day you want to know what food had the most fat of your consumption during that day. simply click on it and get a list sorted by the amount:
75g of fat comes from the cusumed peanut butter
26g of fat comes from the cusumed almond
etc.....

Simplify inputting food
There is a lot of incoherence in your food database.
Especially around weight.Almost all food is measured by 100grams or a serving.
This means that you only really need 3 options for any ingredient, per 100grams, per portion (~30g) and 1gram
But still i get chicken breast listed at 150grams, meaning i have to do headmath to know if the calories are close to what it says on my food since its hard to know if your database includes bone skin etc

Saturated fat goals
It would be nice to set goals for saturated fat, sugar and sodium like we do for carbs, protein and general fat.

Add a way to sort the food list
The food list gets long and if there was a way to sort it once scanned that would be great. Example chicken breast is used in multiple meals I make. To have a meats category to make it easier to find would be awesome. Something basic like meat, vegies, fruits, snacks. As we scan we could have a bubble to select where to store it.
Thanks

Favorite Meal Bookmarks
The app gives the option to create a meal such as, what you have for breakfast every morning. It is marked as a favorite but when you go to add it you have to scroll and scroll and scroll past all your other food favorites before you get to the meals at the bottom of the page. Basically making marking a meal as a favorite pointless. This should be at the top of the page with individual food items below it. I plan to stop using the feature as it is useless now.

Meal suggestions based on what I have in stock
Meal suggestions based on your needed carb/protein/fat-needs for that meal, the kicker is an algorithm that then queries the user yes/no questions e.g. Do you have eggs at home? And then updates avilable suggestions based on the answers

Calcium tracker
I’m a chemo patient and am taking Femara which my doctor said will cause SIGNIFICANT bone loss.
I need to ensure that I get 600 mg of calcium via FOOD each day. This enhancement would be such a great benefit for all women with breast cancer!5 votes -
Gender inclusivity
Kia Ora, I noticed that you only have an option for two genders and would like to suggest a more inclusive approach. If there are concerns around biology, having AFAB (assigned female at birth) non-binary and AMAB (assigned male at birth) non-binary options would work. Also an option for intersex individuals. Thank you

Smart Shopping for less food waste
One recipe needs tortilla wraps, if I buy one pack they has at least 5, what should I do with the remaining 4 ?
My suggestion is to propose meals using leftovers from other meals, I.e. the shopping list is shared between meals so when one meal is added to the shopping list, other meals that use the same ingredients should be suggested to avoid food waste and storing halves of cucumbers and lemon every time I try it cook one meal
