I agree with water import being particularly valuable but as a general rule I think Lifesum should import everything it tracks!

Of course you can’t import everything from all apps, but Apple Health and Google Fit would seem to be a good starting point…

BTW, I would be curious to know the name of the app mentioned by OP…

Yes, as Ross said year’s ago: import everything you track! Of course you can’t import everything from all apps, but Apple Health and Google Fit would seem to be a good starting point…

This suggestion already exists here on uservoice. I suggest you add your vote to that one (just search for “suggest”)

The main purpose of the uservoice platform seems to be to channel most of the feedback/complaints/requests away from actual support agents (who cost money)

Yes, tracking of Sodium salt is currently impossible unless you manually fix every single food you log. In addition to people entering salt as Sodium, they also enter grams as milligrams, i.e. 1.2g of salt is entered as 1.2mg of sodium, instead of 480mg.

I’d appreciate if you could at least include a check on the sodium value so that if the user enters a value of, say, less than 5mg per / 100g, the user is alerted to the fact that the unit is mg, not g.

Similarly, as long as there is no option to enter salt, the difference between Salt and Sodium could be pointed out somewhere on the form. - But then again, its probably easier to just af a field for salt which automatically updates Sodium.

BTW: there are multiple versions of this idea here on uservoice so they should probably be merged (Just search for salt)

Meals should be evaluated in relationships to previous meals on the same day. It makes no sense that Lifesum tells me my Lunch is off balance because it contains too little fat when it also found my breakfast to be too fatty (This happened to me yesterday)

I think the simplest solution to this would be to lat lifesum import water intake from other apps, especially Apple Health and Google Fit. Then you can use a specialized app like
WaterMinder to log your hydration intake (just like many users are importing their weight from an app connected to their scale)
