  1. Easier to understand measurements

    When I look at the ingredients for my meal I'll see ill have to get 5.3 oz or 150 grams of chicken or potatoes or carrots. Is there a way to simplify it to say "one medium sized potato" or 3carrots? Maybe even add Lbs. To the measurements to make it more understandable for people in the USA to understand

  2. Upload photos of your meals aswell like a photo diary in the corresponding category e.g breakfast, snack.

    I feel like the foods available to track aren’t always accurate to what you’re eating and having a visual component to look at aswell helps get more accuracy with the portions and contents of the meal. It can also help identify if they need more greens or colours on their plates. I think I will motivate people by having that visual component it can feel more rewarding than words when looking back at your eating. I’m hoping it will help people with eating disorders too by being able to feel a sense of achievement when looking at the fear foods…

  3. Add your own nutritional info for custom recipes

    Please add the option to put in nutritional data for our own recipes. It’s very difficult to track your macros for your own recipes right now. One meal I made should be 800 calories a serving but when I put the ingredients into the app it shows 450 cals.

  4. Create your own meal plan

    I would like to take any of the recipes available on Lifesum and make my own meal plan. Then I can utilize the grocery list function too.

  5. Don’t display natural sugars in Bad category

    Natural sugars shouldn’t be displayed in the X category of a food. It’s not a negative quality of an apple to have natural sugars, and it creates a negative association with healthy food

  6. More intolerances

    A lot of people are fructose intolerant (like half of European people, but most don't know because we don't eat "enough" fruit in general) and can only eat small amounts before getting sick. But my Life Score is still substracting points because I hardly eat any fruit. It's annoying, because I'm aiming for a good Life Score because it's such a good tool.

    Meal planner isn't very useful to me because the recipe variety is so small.

  10. I would like to create my own meal plan/diet

    Please, make it available for users to create their own meal plan. I can’t believe this feature still isn’t available.

    I don't mean changing my macros/etc. We want to use our own recipes, our own meals that we're used to in our own cultures/families/countries.

    I don’t want to use the predetermined diets on the app. Don’t just assume that we all eat the same things or that everything is available for everyone everywhere.

    I want to be able to meal prep and have my grocery list and build my own meal plan with the things I want but this isn’t…

  11. Save custom quantities

    I’d love the ability to store a specific quantity of a food item I’ve entered. For instance, if I always eat 1.5 cups of broccoli. And cups isn’t an option given when I look up broccoli, only grams (I’m sure there is, broccoli is just an example). So I figure out how many grams are in a cup of broccoli and enter it. Then a week later I want to eat another 1.5 cups of broccoli, I have to go back and find my previous entry and I often can’t remember which day. So I then have to calculate it…

  12. Red meat allergen option

    Some people can't eat pork for religious reasons, I can't eat red meat of any kind due to stomach sensitivities, but we can still eat chicken and fish. Makes finding recipes and finding diet plans difficult

  14. Aggregate shopping list items

    I added 7 meals from thr mealplan to the cart, and I saw same item names listed up multiple times.
    E.g. low-fat greek yogurt 0.91 dl
    ….. other stuff
    Low-fat creek yogurt 1 Tbsp
    Egg 4 small
    ….
    Egg 7 medium

    I want to see the ingredients name and unified measurements. It is a bit disturbing having to buy two different sizes of eggs too… but for now i would love to see items aggregated with the same name.
    I like mealime concept for grocery list. Decided to tryout lifesum due to the tracking functionality but maybe i should stick…

  15. Vegan/vegetarian meal plan

    It would be great to have more meal plans options for vegan/vegetarians... For example a lose weight in 3 weeks vegan edition or a vegan keto.

  16. No carbs/no fat

    Please NO KETO, some diet without carbs but no keto, There's so many fat in the diet, i suffer of stomach problem, with the keto it's worst

  19. Add option to register weight of recipe

    It would be nice if one could set weight instead of portions when registering a recipe.
    That way you could just put a dish on a scale and weigh it, and register that as your meal.
    I do know that it should recommend you put in the post-preparation weight.

  20. Nutritions percentage

    Hi!

    The graph with protein/carbs/fat on statistics is a nice visualization, but it's hard to estimate, how the percentage distribution looks like over the period. Could you please add a simple percentages?
