Make your own meal option
You should be able to create your own meal by adding things and then saving the meal under a name on your account.
Also you are able to select your "meal" and make moderations to it or select it as it is already saved.6 votes -

User defined defaults: Optimize process for entering food items from database
It takes too many clicks to enter data!
When entering a food item you first have to scan or search for it, then you choose number of units and then the unit type (if you are not so lucky that the person who entered this particular food item in the first place is or could have been yourself). Example: When I scan my favorite food, the default is 1 unit of 100 ml. Then I have to enter the number of grams I want, and then try to find grams in the abundance of units (10) which has been entered…

Life score
Dear Lifesum Team,
I'm writing to provide some feedback and suggest a few enhancements that could further improve the user experience and provide more detailed insights to Lifesum users.
• Updated Life Score Matrix in Weekly Emails: I've noticed that the weekly emails aren't using the updated life score matrix. It would be great if the emails could reflect the most current scoring system to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Clarification on Food Group Consumption: It's often challenging to identify whether I'm under-eating or overeating a particular food group. For instance, with red meat, I find it difficult to…

View more macros in diary
You can see calories, and the 3 main macros on the home page. It would be ideal if you could control what shows up there, maybe you dont care about tracking fat but only specifically trans fat. Or maybe its very important for you to track your sugar intake, and maybe thats even the main reason you downloaded a tracking app, but you have to go into stats to check it every time, as well as also not being available for quick view on widgets. Having chosen items you’d like to track which shows up in the diary and widgets…

Select Which Macros to Track
Is there anyway you can turn off tracking certain macros? For example, I am not wanting to track my carbs or fats, only my protein. Can there be a function to do this?

Adding multiple items from one restaurant.
Chipotle for instance is a build your own meal restaurant. Every time I want to add corn or tortilla I have to type chipotle in the search and then scroll to it and after that, I hit the plus button but then chipotle disappears from the search bar and I have to retype chipotle it in for each individual ingredient. I think that if you were able to search for individual restaurant that you can see all of its food items, add all the items you need and after you hit “done” is when it clears the search bar.

Connect with freestyle libre app
I would like the Lifesum app to connect with my freestyle libre app. That way I can track when I eat and easily see how it effects my blood glucose levels.

Dinner nutrient distribution match daily macro goal
I would like to give a tip for the next update of lifesum I have been an avid user of lifesum for almost 2 years now and would love to see the dinner nutrient distribution match the daily macro goal so if for example breakfast and lunch have perfect nutrient distribution. for dinner to have the left over macros fitted into the same range based off how much calories and macros are left.

Editing nutritional items makes no sense
Each macro etc is measured "per 100g" or at least this is implied because it says "100 g" below each item (not per 100g which would be clearer).
However, when I modify the serving size at the top, all the values update. How could this be? Changing a serving size does not change how many grams of fat per 100g, it just changes the total consumed.
Also, the first field asks how many calories, but does not specify for how much food. Is it for one serving or for 100g?
I have edited the same protein bar THREE TIMES now…

Aggregate shopping list items
I added 7 meals from thr mealplan to the cart, and I saw same item names listed up multiple times.
E.g. low-fat greek yogurt 0.91 dl
….. other stuff
Low-fat creek yogurt 1 Tbsp
Egg 4 small
….
Egg 7 mediumI want to see the ingredients name and unified measurements. It is a bit disturbing having to buy two different sizes of eggs too… but for now i would love to see items aggregated with the same name.
I like mealime concept for grocery list. Decided to tryout lifesum due to the tracking functionality but maybe i should stick…9 votes -
More explicit ingredients on the shopping list
I was looking at the recipes for tomorrow, and the dinner recipe calls for potatoes. The picture looks like salt potatoes. The shopping list i purchase for just said "potatoes" so I bought russet potatoes. More specificity in the shopping list/recipes would be appreciated.

Smart Shopping for less food waste
One recipe needs tortilla wraps, if I buy one pack they has at least 5, what should I do with the remaining 4 ?
My suggestion is to propose meals using leftovers from other meals, I.e. the shopping list is shared between meals so when one meal is added to the shopping list, other meals that use the same ingredients should be suggested to avoid food waste and storing halves of cucumbers and lemon every time I try it cook one meal

Basic option to add oz and set amounts as a default
Basic option to add oz and set amounts.
Most foods are packaged or consumed in set default amounts, none of which are listed in the current default drop-down for whatever reason.2 votes -
Unfavorite/delete created products/meals
Hi, I’d like to be able to delete products or meals that I’ve added/created myself from my favorites list. I now feel that my favorites are getting too cluttered, but I can’t seem to unfavorite or deleted things I’ve added myself.

Display more than 2 items per meal (without the need to press Show more)
I don’t think it makes sense to display only two tracked items per meal, and I have to click show more to see the rest. Most of my meals have 3 or 4 items and it always makes me doubt If the items have been tracked for not, until I realize there are more after I press the button. So, maybe it should show at least 4-5 items before disclosing them? There’s certainly a lot of space for a photo which could be reduced (at least when nothing is uploaded)
