  1. Supplements checklist

    Instead of adding daily supplements as a part of the meals, it would be great to have a supplements checklist (as a separate category) to mark during the day which I’ve already taken.
    Currently I reserved “snack” meal for supplements only to keep track on them, but it doesn’t feel right and not convenient to use

    I want to make my own plans, or at least please let me quit a started plan. I never found a setting for this. Just change between plans...

  3. Option to edit own recipes

    You should be able to modify recipes that you’ve made or want to log from the recipe book. Alternatively, being able to duplicate and modify Lifesum recipes to customize them for more accurate logging

  4. Add a ‘save recipe’ button, so you don’t have to type out all the ingredients every time you make a regular recipe

  5. Make Feedback Tailored To Those Who Want To Gain Weight

    It would be optimal to have feedback that supports my (and others’) weight-gain goal when water and food items are logged, as opposed to feedback that supports weight loss - which goes against our aim. For example, when I log water, it tells me that taking water will prevent me from getting hungry easily; and when I don’t log water it encourages me to drink water so that I stay full.

    Having suggestions tailored to weight gain will make the app exponentially more enjoyable, because those of us who want to gain weight will feel seen & heard. Thank you!

  6. Accurate/verified nutritional information from lifesum

    Provide scientifically accurate and "Lifesum verified" nutritional values for common staples, eggs, 2% milk, brown rice, tofu, etc.

    I've found most of the basic foods I eat have a large rage of caloric and nutritional values within the app. I know which is closest to correct because I used another calorie counting app for several years, but not everyone can estimate as accurately.

  7. Veggie, fruit tracker should auto update

    I entered in foods. Ex: 1 serving curly kale in my breakfast smoothie. I added vegetable tracker. I expected the veggie tracker to automatically fill in 1 serving. Come on, this is the AI age!

  8. Excess sugar or fat - want top offenders

    I see in daily report and other stats that I ate excess fat and added sugar (say). I want to be to drill down and quickly identify top offenders in decreasing order. It’s difficult to go to every food and find out. MyFitnessPal has this btw

  9. When creating food, the data entry screen (calories, carbohydrates, proteins, etc.) referring to the food should be based on the portion

    When creating food, the data entry screen (calories, carbohydrates, proteins, etc.) referring to the food should be based on the portion indicated on the previous screen and not per 100g, since we read the nutrition chart of the portion and not in 100g, at least here in Brazil

  10. Please add reminders & trackers for other health-related routines, such as taking vitamins & medications, meditating, & self-care actions.

    As someone who takes some medications daily and some as needed, it's helpful to mark these days accordingly. Right now the platform is amazing for diet, but would love a more holistic wellness format all in one place. These features are spread across three different apps in my phone, but would love to be able to consolidate.

  11. Meal suggestion

    Would be great if you could have lifesum suggest a meal that would fall within the remaining carbs, calories, etc you have for that day or meal.

    Can you add a period tracking feature? I know that affects weight all the time and your eating habits so it would be nice to have.

  13. The weight tracker should scale by time rather than by data points

    The graph is not very useful at the moment unless you record your weight at a consistent frequency without missing any entries.

    It would be better the app had the basic copy and paste function to copy meals or foods from one day to another. That makes weekly or monthly meal plans easier to design on the app

  15. Add a beverage button

    Tracking beverages:
    I would love to see the water button stay unchanged except perhaps more options for container size. My favorite cup is 11.5 fl oz for example. In addition to the warer button a beverage button would be nice, to track calories, caffeine, carbs, etc. that we are drinking because there can and usually are a lot of sugars in soda pop and fruit juice, most coffee drinks, a lot of carbs in alcohol and so on. If the calories we drink are logged with our meals/snacks it is easy to excuse, but to have a button/category that shows…

  19. Plans

    I don't get why one of the bottom tabs are plans. You almost never change that so that should be under settings. There are many other things you use more often. Maybe change it for settings, body measurements, favorites, blog posts/news or something like that. Eventually maybe workout suggestions/plans.

  20. Recipe categories should match meal plans

    If I select a meal plan such as "Meditteranean", I'd like to be able to see what meals qualify as Med meals. There's not even a search tag for that plan. Similarly, if (for example) I want to see what the medium Keto diet would be like, I want to be able to see all the "medium Keto" recipes so I can determine if that's a plan I should even try.
