Ability to copy all meals from previous days
For a "I eat the same thing every week"-person this is a neat feature.
For instance, on a Monday one should be able to copy all meals from last Monday (or any day) instead of having to add them one at a time.
Although not word for word what you suggested, we do have a recents function making it possible to add food you have previously tracked. I will keep this suggestion open however for future development of the function!

This is the reason I’m not going to use this app anymore when my subscription is over. I know other apps that do support this function.

After a good look around the app it seems this function has still not been added. It is far too cumbersome to save everything I’m eating as a meal just to be able to copy it to the next day. It seems like such a basic but necessary function to have. A check box next to the items, or 3 dots at each meal time giving us the ability to select all and copy to a specific date. I’m new to the app and initially was very impressed, I’ve just signed up as premium, but I can’t see myself sticking with it as it currently is. Please have a serious look at adding this functionality.

Yes! The lack of this feature is the reason I'm looking to replace this app.
Recent food list isn't sufficient, I may have a dozen items to add, I don't want to keep going back. If recent food list has a checkbox and I can add multiple at once, maybe that would suffice.
Copy/paste from previous day isn't that useful. Some days I dont track and copy/pasting repeatedly is annoying.
I want to go to a previous day and say "Copy all meals to Today" or select a meal and say "copy meal to another day" and select the day.
I'll see if this is added soon, or else spend my money elsewhere.
Thank you!

I am looking forward to this option as well.. It would be very useful to copy your day... there are people who has the same routine and copying is something neccesary

Hi, Its four years since the original post. Still no option to copy a meal and single item to another day? Please, no one suggest making a meal so its available. If i have two servings of leftovers, I dont want to create a meal to have to delete it right away, because im only going to eat it a couple times. I just switched from MFP because of the Wear OS app, but I am finding logging is very time consuming compared to MFP.

I'm new on Lifesum and have the premium version. Prior to lifesum I used MyFitnesPal. I only switched because of the various diet plans. I'm really disappointed that a simple function like copy+paste single foods or meals or days to another day is not possible. On MyFitnessPal it is very easy on the phone. Please work on that function soon! It is a very time saving function!

You can click on the three dots and then make it into a meal with a name of your choice. If you then type it on your search it will come up no matter which meal of the day it is :)

I think this is a great idea!
You know how we can already tap and hold to delete a meal/food from a day?
well it would be great if we could tap and hold, then:
- Instead of a delete option when an item is tapped and held, it shows a tick mark next to the meal or food item in the day view. A lot of android apps already work like this (tap and hold to select)
- then some edit options could appear in the top right of the nav bar (although, technically the app home screen doesn't have a top navbar)
- The user can now select as many as meals or foods as they want, tapping each food/meal item while a tick mark appears next to it
- When you select copy , it brings up the the calendar then the user can select the days they want to copy to ...they can also have an option to cancel the operation or execute the operation by tapping a done button. or even just a 7day week view could pop up and not an entire calendar
I see some value in speed and efficiency with functionality like this

I would also love a function that I can copy meals.
Sometimes I have residues from the dinner which I eat next day for lunch, and still need to add everything manually. Such an easy function! Please make it work! It would be a huge value added! -

A must have for.people who eat the same meals day after day, copies my lunch for example into tomorrow all in one shot.
One of the best features offered by your competitor "myfitnesspal" app.

Of course this should include all types of food and not only "meals"

This is a MUST but not just for meals. You should be able to copy single food entries from one day to another or one meal to anothe

I think this would be very useful functionality, so with few easy steps you can create your meal plan.

If one eats for example the same breakfast every morning, the copy function is fastest way to add items.
