Bring back am and pm snack
There used to be a meal for "Before lunch snack" and one for "After lunch snack" (don't know what they were called in English but in Swedish I think it was something like Mellanmål förmiddag and Mellanmål eftermiddag). I really miss that. I'm definitely a snacker so to be able to see when I snacks the most would be helpful

Personalized water quantities
I would love it if we could be able to adjust the ml on our preferred water intake. My water bottle (from which I mostly drink from) is 700ml, but you can’t change it in the app, it only allows 500ml when you use bottles and not glasses

Fasting days on diet plans
I think the ability to mark a day as a fasting day (for someone who does multiple day water fasts) would be a good feature on all the diet plans so it can be accounted for. I follow the ketogenic strict diet but will also do amultiple day water fast during the week.

Smoothie maker
since a lot of people drink smoothies there should be a "smoothie maker" where you type in the ingredients of the smoothie

Nutrition diary download
It would be nice if there was a posibility to get your Nutrition diary as a PDF or similar. It is nice for a parallel Health coaching/food advice.

Sort the food we add to the meals (breakfast, lunch etc) after time it's added so it's easy to find our last entry
Many people eat 5-6 meals a day. That means 2-3 meals has to be under "snack". Therefore it often takes time to find the last entry when it's not at the bottom of the list. Specially if I ate this item every meal that "belongs" under "snack".

Show fiber quantity in recipes tagged 'fiber rich'!
Original message
janecc wrote:Hello
Having just subscribed for 1 month (£7.99☹️) to see what I think of the app, I am astonished that the fibre amount is not shown in many of the featured recipes under the 'fiber rich' tag!! Doesn't inspire you to make the recipe when it won't add towards your fibre quota - really disappointed ☹️. I would be grateful for your feedback please.
Thank you
Jane

Calcium in nutrition data
Calcium is an essential mineral nutritional element both for bone and metabolism. Unfortunately there is no provision to add Calcium content of foods. This is a serious oversight that needs to be remedied. (It is in Myfitnesspal data!)

Calorie in vs calorie burn
It would be much more relevant to see the total number of calories eaten instead of just burned. This, as the Fitbit app does, would show you if you've eaten more than you've burned, or less, or if you're right on. This must be so easy to implement!

Weight Tracker
I did not see this addressed if it has been I apologize. I personally miss the weight goals/milestones. Seeing the bar with my starting weight and my goal with the # of pounds currently lost is fine but to me intimidating. I absolutely loved putting in my weight and seeing just my milestone goal. It helped me greatly as I had small goals to achieve to reach the big one. Now I have this intimidating bar and it's kinda depressing as I know how much I started at and what I want to be at and how far I have to go. If there's anyway to bring back the milestone feature I would be very appreciative!!!
On a side note: why is it when I log my weight it rounds up. 177.8 it shows 177.9. I know it probably seems silly in the grand scheme of things but I was just curious if this is intentional or a bug.
Thank you for your time!
Have a great day!Angelica

Combining diets
Combining diets would be nice. For example say the Keto diet and the 5:2 diet

Add fasting hours to diary
I wish there was a way to log the number of fasting hours in the classic dieting plan. I'm trying to stop eating at 4:30 in the afternoon and begin eating again the next day at 8:30 and wish I could log and track that in the diary. This is a better way for me to fast rather than 5:2. 5-2 plan

Export Recipes to other app, or flat text
Would be great to be able to export recipes to other apps (such as Paprika), or as a delimited text file to be used for import.
Obviously, many people use other apps to track recipes, and integrate those apps into grocery shopping / list apps as well. I've loved the recipe suggestions so far, but often forget to make them because I didn't integrate them into my meal-planning workflow outside of Lifesum.
Thanks!

Salt to sodium conversion
Add a salt to sodium converter as many people dont know that salt is not equal to sodium. There is a fixed factor to calculate the sodium out of salt. Many foods only have salt labeled and not sodium.
1000mg = 1g of salt contain 394mg of sodium. Factor is 2.54Love your app :-)

Enter nutrition values through photos
I really miss a function which enables me to enter the nutrition values of a certain food just by taking a photo of the nutrition values on the package of the food and then letting the app read the information from the photo and insert it into the product information. The function itself shouldn't be too difficult to insert into the app when there are and abundance of softwares today which can read, translate and insert text from a photo. This would save the users a lot of time while in the same time minimizing the risk that the wrong values are entered and then someone else has to report that in order to get it changed. Right now I feel that there are just too many products in the app where the nutrition values just aren't right and that brings the quality of the app down. Please add this function!

On Android the scanning position is not as flexible as on iOS due to the red line you need to position over the code.

Support single use recipes with servings
For most meals I make up recipes on the fly, based on what ingredients I have on hand. I'd like to be able to enter the ingredients just as in a normal "recipe", enter the number of servings, and then add the item to a meal. I'd also like to be able to edit an improptu recipe that was already added to my meal. There's no need to save the recipe, although an option to save it after the fact would be a nice addition. The overall effect would be similar to creating a recipe, using it, then deleting the recipe but it would be a LOT more convenient for me.
Here are some of the advantages of adding this feature:
I’m often cooking for myself and my wife and she also tracks her meals (though not with LifeSum). I would like to be able to tell her the calories per serving in each dish that I prepare. Today, this is awkward unless I create a named recipe.
Entering each ingredient as an item in my meal is awkward, since I have to divide each quantity by the number of servings. I sometimes do this, but I often make mistakes (e.g., enter 1 cup instead of ½ cup).
Creating a recipe involves many unnecessary steps. In my mind, I’m entering items for, say, dinner, but I need to navigate to Favorites, create a recipe, enter instructions (even if only one word), and then save the recipe before I can add it to my meal. It’s awkward.Thank you!
