Possibility to see the food Barcode
I would like to see the barcode of all the food. Could be useful to share it with other users who didn't read the barcode or to compare the list of food and check if I'm selecting the right one comparing it with the food box.

Weigt gain option for keto diet
It would be really useful to have the option to choose the keto diet with weight gain as a goal (or even weight maintenance). Currently this is not possible, and forces users to choose a basic diet for that goal.. Not everyone doing the keto diet is doing so for weight loss!

Imperial system of measurement for the food diary.
Can you please add the option to select the imperial system of measurement when adding food to the diary? I’m not familiar with metric, and end up needed to guess grams or ounces. Or consult Google to translate between the two measurement systems. All of which end up taking too much of my time. I have a free account and currently can’t read the recipes, if those ingredients are also listed in metric, a premium account would really not help me. This detail is really the only thing holding me back to purchasing a premium account. I like the app…

Body recomposition (non-weight) goals and configure which body measurements to display
Once meeting target weight goals, like many, my next goals are tied to further optimising and toning my body shape e.g. increasing muscle mass (currently not available in lifesum) and decreasing body fat (which lifesum captures from my Withings smart scales).
Currently lifesum only facilitates weight-related goals. Once users have proven to themselves that they can sustainably maintain their goal weight, I'm sure their goals evolve, like mine, and anyone limited to "maintain weight" as a primary goal will inevitably start looking at other apps.
This is a shame because at least for body fat, lifesum already reads it! However…

Life score recomandations should say if you have eaten to much or too little
When you read about ways to improve your life score, it does tell you what is in balance and what is not. When it says something is unbalanced, is should also give an indication if one eats too much or too little of the unbalanced group of food.

Water tracker should sync both ways with Samsung health
When you add water in Lifesum it adds to the tracker in Samsung health but if you add water in samsung health it doesn't show up in Lifesum. Please let the water tracker not only write but also read information.

Purine and oxolate attributes on foods
Add purine and oxolate levels for foods. Should be able to add these attributes within the nutrition facts/other categories to enable those with gout or kidney stones to track levels within their diets.

Customizable number of meals per day
Should be able to have more than 3 meals per day. The normal count of meals are 4 or more, when dieting you are supposed to eat often, but not much at each meal.
Should be able to give a count for the number of meals you prefer per day. As default the number of calories should be distributed for the number of meals (more for dinner than breakfast), but you should also be able to enter your preferred number of calories pr meal. Maybe even also the total number of calories pr. day.21 votes -
Exercise
There should be an option to exclude half of your exercise calories. Currently it’s all or nothing which is not really helpful, as I would be starving if I excluded all my exercise from my daily calorie goal, but I am not going to lose weight if I eat all the calories I burned through exercise each day.

More dieting options
I would like to be able to have a diet plan where I can eat lower calories throughout the week and then higher calories in the weekends. I think this would be a great addition since this happens to be a popular dieting choice already.

More meal times
It would be nice to be able to have more meal times than just breakfast, lunch, dinner, and one snack. For example, there could be a separate morning snack or evening snack or even a pre-workout snack.

Rebalance a meal automatically
Possibility to automatically get meals and ingredients adjusted would be great and make it so much easier to plan the day ahead, not just use Lifesum to log a day.
Say you have planned the day but lack calories or have added to many when you planned the day. It would be great if you could adjust calories automatically, like rebalance a meal and it's ingredients to hit correct total calories for that day. It would make planning in advance easier.1 vote -
Make a suggestion to copy last night's dinner to lunch the next day
Many of us bring lunch boxes to work. Often they contain last night dinner leftovers. Today, it is only possible to copy yesterday's lunch to the next day, but not the dinner, which would probably be more useful as most people probably don't eat the same thing for lunch every day. I would be very happy if this feature would be added as it would same me a ton of time every day. Also I think the result would be a more detailed lunch in the app, as it then doesn't matter if you don't remember every ingredient the day…

No "Low Cholesterol" options
There is very little in the app with regards to lowering cholesterol. I have done a recipe search, and there is nothing. I have tried a tag of "low cholesterol", and nothing shows up. I am unable to track cholesterol.
This is a very common issue in the U.S. I think implementing cholesterol options more into your app would greatly benefit a large group of people.

List of items in a meal to be visible on "Diary" main page
Every time I want to see what I ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks, I need to click on breakfast to see if everything has been included. Why can't that be mentioned on the diary page?

Hide "CALS LEFT" from top of screen - Keto
I am on the Ketogenic Strict food plan on Lifesum. As with many keto folks, I don't care about and do not want to see calories, but on the app, calories are center stage. I would like the option to not see calorie counts on the top of the screen (I use Android app but I'm guessing iOS looks the same.) I've uploaded a mockup of what I propose.

When starting a new goal I want to be able to use a decimal for current weight
If my weight is 63.5kg, I dont want the starting weight to be set to 64kg. There used to the option of just writing the current weight but it's not there anymore.
