Add the possibility to create recipe books for selfmade recipes, e.g. sweet things, christmas recipes etc.
Being able to enter recipes into different recipe books would provide a much better overview.

Better analysis tools
It would be great with better analysis tools to compare nutrients over time. For example, average daily carbohydrate intake over week, month etc. Or average saturated and unsaturated fat.
The app is great, but without more analysis tools it kind of loses its purpose over time and I wonder why you log all this data if I cannot analyze it properly.

Cheat Day
I hate seeing the little red bars when I go to the "Me" section. I have cheat days/Refeeding days every so often, it would be awesome to be able to set a day as a "Refeeding Day" or something of the like. Maybe even set caloric intakes different for different days.
Thanks!

Support single use recipes with servings
For most meals I make up recipes on the fly, based on what ingredients I have on hand. I'd like to be able to enter the ingredients just as in a normal "recipe", enter the number of servings, and then add the item to a meal. I'd also like to be able to edit an improptu recipe that was already added to my meal. There's no need to save the recipe, although an option to save it after the fact would be a nice addition. The overall effect would be similar to creating a recipe, using it, then deleting the…

Weight loss projection
A feature like Myfitnesspals where it projects how much weight you will lose based on your current caloric intake.
116 votesLifesum Team respondedHello Hope,
We understand the usefulness of this! The concern nutritionists here at Lifesum have with this is the fact that it could encourage users to eat too little making it unhealthy on the opposite spectrum.
We are looking at alternative ways to do this, let us know if you have any suggestions!
Kind Regards,

Weekly progress summary
In order to get a good grasp on progress, weekly summaries would really help. How many calories was my intake compared to my goal this week? When will I reach my weight goal with this tempo?
The app is really good on a day-to-day basis, but it would be nice to get a better overview, and therefor a better understanding of your own progress.

task
Add Tasks to Lifesum. A Task could be completed within the day or a specified duration of time. One Task could be to complete the planned training for the day, another to remeber to eat a small meal before training.
By adding Tasks, this app would be a complete part of the daily tracking46 votes -
Food suggestions
Give comparable but healthier suggestions for low grade foods. Example. 6 piece chicken nuggets (has a D or E grade) is added to diary. Auto suggest gives something like "For a higher grade try grilled chicken strips instead." Then maybe a 'see more' to see how the compare.
Likely a gold member feature if added134 votesLifesum Team respondedHey Chandra,
This is a great point. For now, we have some articles that takes this subject up in this section: http://lifesum.com/help/topic/904690

Allow users to filter the display of foods by verified, general user entered and those I entered myself
The user entered food database is very unreliable. A filtering feature would enable the user to focus on the verified ones

Add Weight Tracking to Fitness
When selecting an exercise such as "Bicep Curl" we should be able to track how much weight we are curling not just how long we did the exercise. This would be useful for gym goers as we can see how our strength is improving over time.

Ability to copy all meals from previous days
For a "I eat the same thing every week"-person this is a neat feature.
For instance, on a Monday one should be able to copy all meals from last Monday (or any day) instead of having to add them one at a time.252 votesLifesum Team respondedAlthough not word for word what you suggested, we do have a recents function making it possible to add food you have previously tracked. I will keep this suggestion open however for future development of the function!

Search food by protein, fat, carbohydrates
When I want to add food for my lunch, dinner etc it would be very helpful if it was possible to search or sort food/nutritients which contains f.ex over 12 grams of protein pr 100 g. This would make it much easier to see which kind of nutritients I should buy for my meals to keep the protein levels high.
Or to be able to search food/nutrients by levels of protein, fat, carbohydrates (red, green, grey)
