Excess sugar or fat - want top offenders
I see in daily report and other stats that I ate excess fat and added sugar (say). I want to be to drill down and quickly identify top offenders in decreasing order. It’s difficult to go to every food and find out. MyFitnessPal has this btw

Decide what type of exercises that your exercises count as (strength training, HIIT, etc)
Add the ability to label exercises as strength training, HIIT, etc; it would be nice to track how much of each type of exercise you're doing and have a more accurate life score - currently I am, as far as the tracker is concerned, not doing any strength training despite doing over 10 hours per week of strength building exercises that aren't weights or climbing.

Expected set Weight Goal Trend Line
*for premium users
In the line graph for the weight statistics, please add a trend line in that same graph to average out daily weight measurements
This trend line can be calculated and also extrapolated to a date that correspond with the set weight goal*Showing the day of reaching the set weight goal would be motivating to me

Make Feedback Tailored To Those Who Want To Gain Weight
It would be optimal to have feedback that supports my (and others’) weight-gain goal when water and food items are logged, as opposed to feedback that supports weight loss - which goes against our aim. For example, when I log water, it tells me that taking water will prevent me from getting hungry easily; and when I don’t log water it encourages me to drink water so that I stay full.
Having suggestions tailored to weight gain will make the app exponentially more enjoyable, because those of us who want to gain weight will feel seen & heard. Thank you!

Edit your meals, add or remove meals per day
I think it would be great to be able to edit the meals yourself and even rename them. It's hard to keep track of the smaller meals now. In addition it could be useful to be able to put a check mark after the meal when you have finished it.

Carb cycling plan for workout/non-workout days
I just discovered this app and am BLOWN AWAY by it. I really love that it features non-weight loss plans, and it's so much more positive and holistic than anything I've seen. For those of us who are looking to lose body fat while gaining muscle, some kind of carb cycling plan would be really useful (higher carb/lower fat days on workout days, higher fat/lower carb days for days we aren't working out). I realize that a plan might be difficult to work out the details on, but perhaps an ability to customize a plan would be great--I'd be thrilled…

Step tracker

Vegan
Please could you provide meal/diet plans that are 100% vegetarian or vegan, as none of your current meal/diet plans are usable by vegetarians as they all contain meat or fish. Please note that this is not the same request as being able to filter the recipes by vegetarian choices or setting your profile as vegetarian but rather a request for a new meal/diet plan option under the 'plans' tab for those who follow a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

Add fasting meal time setting
People of different faiths fast at different times of the year as well some people exercise a fast diet. However the fast meal times do not conform to the 3 meal and snack regimen because in a fast we may be skipping one meal altogether and eating a lot more at a different meal time (after breaking the fast).
There should be a setting to switch to fasting mode and be able to track meals accordingly.

Why cant i get a meal i create in gr insted of a portion ? You never know how much you get on the plate ?

Scan nutritional information like you would a check or barcode
Create an algorithm that will scan the nutritional information off of a picture that the user would take using his or her phone to add new foods. This would be similar to making a mobile check deposit or scanning a QR code. I feel it would be best used when adding new foods so that the user doesn't have to input everything manually.

That is a great idea. We have some photo ideas, but looking at the tech industry it might instead be interesting to try and implement this idea in the technology that will hopefully be standard on a phone in a few years!

Improve food database
Lifesum is prettier than the alternatives but without a reliable database of foods it's no better than a spreadsheet or even, God forbid, myfitnesspal.
- Let people take photos of the nutritional label and parse those (there are standard types around the world)
- Try to find similar foods and merge them. Where data differs, note as much.
- Make it easier to work around others' inability to interpret labels correctly (by automating de-duplication, importing bulk research data like the USDA database).
- Make it easier to use volumetric units (more easily approximated than mass). This has to be done at food creation time…

manually add calories, protein, carbs and fat
Allow to manually add protein, carbs and fat in our goal diet. Everybody has a different daily needs.

I thought that the Lifesum app would sync my info from Fitbit and it does not sync everything . I would not have purchased it if I knew that
All of your Fitbit info does not sync . It was a waste of money for me to purchase premium because that was my main reason . I wish that you could fix that problem .

I would like an option to add everything to a grocery list
I love having all these recipes but if we could export the ingredients to a list that we could check off at the store, that would be awesome! Also a section where we could make our own meal plans for the week so we can prepare in the app instead of on paper.

Mental/Emotional Health tracker
I love the review at the end of the week, what type of exercise or fruits and vegetables would be helpful but as we know mental health is important could a tracker for that and a view on that be included. Like when did you stop to journal or take pictures, etc.

remove the multiple entries of the same food type
Too many times you can search for a food item and get a dozen results for the same food. Often these contain incorrect nutritional information as well so you have to search through to find the right one or edit the information. Whilst it is possible to scan the barcode, not all product entry is done this way whilst the fridge and freezer are open so you can scan the correct barcode.
