  1. Unlock carb amount for keto plans

    It would be great to be able to choose a keto plan (low carb) but have the option to unlock the carb amount to a percentage instead of a fixed e.g. 50g. Using a standard plan instead does not give you appropriate food grading (A,B,C etc) for low carb, high fat.

  2. 5 ingredients recipes

    I currently am living alone and trying to stay healthy. I tend to stick to recipes that are quick and easy to make as I don't have much spare time. If I open a recipe and it has a ton of ingredients I don't even finish reading it. If there was a category for five ingredient or less recipes I think that may be a feature that people will enjoy. Maybe you already have it and I am missing it. 🤷

  4. Connection to MiFit app

    It would be cool if Lifesum could connect directly to the MiFit app. A lot of us use the Mi Bands!

  5. Move foods between meals

    It would be nice to be able to move a food from one meal to another after adding it to your diary. For example sometimes I add a food to my lunch but I end up eating it earlier as a snack. In order to move the food from the lunch meal to the snack I need to delete it then add it again.

  6. Automatic portion calculation

    I’ve used MyFitnessPall a lot and i am very much missing the automatic portion calculator, which the Lifesum app does not have. As example; It means that you can add a meal or product, with a total of 275 grams. When you choose in Lifesum for 1/2 portion, you also have to fill in the grams yourself (and calculate). In MyFitnessPall (didn’t know how much i would miss this feature, but never thought Lifesum would not have it before i’d bought a 12-month pay :)) they’ll calculate automatic what 1/2 is of the chosen poetion. Also 3/4 of the example…

  7. Ability to add additional meals

    I eat 7 meals a day. Currently the app has 3 meals and a snack only. How do I add additional meals?

  8. Add Chloe Ting’s Workout Videos!

    My idea is to add Chloe Ting’s workout videos to the exercise portion to accurately measure how many calories I’m burning through using her videos. It’s be amazing to also add other youtuber’s workouts to the options too.

  9. Same Barcode, many foods

    Let as register the same barcode with many foods. This is helpful with foods in the same box but with different nutrition information (yogurts fox example). Thank you!

  10. TOTAL weight lost

    PLEASE show total weight lost, not daily weight loss when weight is updated!

    Weight fluctuates every day. Seeing how much you've lost in total rather than "you've lost 0.0 lbs" is FAR more motivating and gratifying. Daily weight loss is worthless

  11. Allow users to rate user submitted foods for nutrition accuracy

    The current user submitted database is filled with wild amounts of inaccurate data entries to the point I find I have to create my own foods most of the time unless the item is non-user submitted.

    By allowing users to rate the accuracy of a user entered food item it would help others make better choices when adding foods to their food log.

    One suggestion would be to not rate by star values but instead to show an percentage rating based on the volume of upvotes or down votes.

  12. Carb Cycling and Intermittent Fasting Plan and/ Option to Adjust per Day

    I use a combination of Intermittent Fasting and want to introduce Carb Cycling to improve my results. I currently use a separate app to keep track of my fasting days/ times but I don't see options to adjust my macros per day on Lifesum. It would be nice to connect the BodyFast app or have more fasting options in Lifesum, in addition to being able to set macros.

  13. 20 Day Alcohol Challenge

    Many people have problems losing weight because that yum beer on the weekend or that delicious Sweet Red Wine. I’m one of them.
    And many times alcohol had lead me to over eat what I don’t need, and that added to my weight.
    Lifesum have the 14 day Red meat Challenge, how about a 20 day Alcohol Challenge.. That would absolutely make the difference and maybe even help others.

  14. Have grams instead of servings when creating a recipe

    For creating a recipe and adding it into your lunch, you have to enter how many servings you had. Replace the servings with grams!

  15. Have the option to choose salt OR sodium when imputing foods

    Only having the option to input sodium often seems to results in messed up entries with salt and sodium confused.

    This means you either have to re-enter the whole item or attempt to change the sodium info which often seems to fail.

  16. Improve the Notes feature

    I'd love to be able to access a central location to see all of my notes.

    Like an icon on my 'person' page. Then a date index perhaps, and each date entry takes me to that note on that day.

    Having to go back to the day in question to find the notes gets a bit tedious the older the note.

  17. Add a Fasting Tracker

    It would be nice to log and track fasting sessions and be able to average over time. There are numerous apps out there but it would be nice to have it all in one.

  18. Add fasting hours to diary

    I wish there was a way to log the number of fasting hours in the classic dieting plan. I'm trying to stop eating at 4:30 in the afternoon and begin eating again the next day at 8:30 and wish I could log and track that in the diary. This is a better way for me to fast rather than 5:2. 5-2 plan

  20. Stand-alone Meal Planner with portion size and count scaling

    The meal planner in the 3-week diet plan is the most useful feature in LifeSum at the moment and the only part that has actually enabled me to tangibly lose weight.

    Unfortunately it seems to be only available for that fixed programme and cannot be accessed if one is on any other diet than this planned programme.

    I would like this to be a standard feature one can enable on the front screen and to be able to have it suggest meal plan options from the entire recipe catalaogue based on diet flavor of my choosing.
