Please add a Fodmap diet plan.
Please add a Fodmap diet plan. New to the app, and so far I like it. I have IBS on top of arthritis with meds and am trying keto strict but a fodmap diet would be even better! Thanks!

Count calories per week
I want to be able to "save" calories some days and eat extra other days. Make it possible to see how many calories there are left the whole week next to the day calories.

Scan nutritional information like you would a check or barcode
Create an algorithm that will scan the nutritional information off of a picture that the user would take using his or her phone to add new foods. This would be similar to making a mobile check deposit or scanning a QR code. I feel it would be best used when adding new foods so that the user doesn't have to input everything manually.

That is a great idea. We have some photo ideas, but looking at the tech industry it might instead be interesting to try and implement this idea in the technology that will hopefully be standard on a phone in a few years!

Keto + intermittent fasting plan
Why not introduce a combo power plan that combines the fat burning magic of ketosis and the health benefits of intermittent fasting
Keto 75% F 20% P 5% C
Intermittent Fasting 16:8 every other day or 3 days a week that the user can define when setting up their plan262 votes -
Upload recipes from browser
I love this app, but I really wish I could type in a URL and Lifesum would automatically parse the ingredients. MyFitnessPal does this, and it's a game changer.

Ability to copy all meals from previous days
For a "I eat the same thing every week"-person this is a neat feature.
For instance, on a Monday one should be able to copy all meals from last Monday (or any day) instead of having to add them one at a time.258 votesLifesum Team respondedAlthough not word for word what you suggested, we do have a recents function making it possible to add food you have previously tracked. I will keep this suggestion open however for future development of the function!

Stop treating all fats as bad.
Stop treating all fats as bad. Your app makes me feel like shit for cooking with one tablespoon of avocado oil. Not all fats are bad, and a lot are necessary. It shouldn't be a frowny face food when I'm trying to hit my fat macros.

Summary
It wold be great to have a weekly, monthly and annual summary of what one have eaten.
This to see the percentage of fruits, vegetables, dairy, meats and fish.
It's one thing to eat according to calories, but is it overall healthy eating in the long run?
Would love to have this feature.
Kind regards, Rita

Combined food library.
At the moment Lifesum only lists the recent foods you ate in each category. This is stupid. Because what if you have something for lunch one night then eat it for dinner the next night?
This means you have to constantly enter the same foods over and over again in each of the different categories and Lifesum seems to have a short memory of the foods listed (two weeks?). MyFitnessPal keeps a combined library of everything you ever list so whatever meal you eat something for, it's much easier to recall the product and add it in again.

Add option for progress pictures
Would be great with the possibility to add a "Before/After" picture under "measurements" to follow my results with the diet I've chosen.

Improve the 5:2 diet plan. Make goals adjustable. Also allow you to choose fasting days differently each week.
No reason goals should be locked. Was very disappointed after paying for a subscription. Also, I never know exactly which days will be fasting days until right before hand due to my work schedule. Fasting days should be selectable day by day as needed.

Copy Foods or meals to different days
It would be better the app had the basic copy and paste function to copy meals or foods from one day to another. That makes weekly or monthly meal plans easier to design on the app

remove the multiple entries of the same food type
Too many times you can search for a food item and get a dozen results for the same food. Often these contain incorrect nutritional information as well so you have to search through to find the right one or edit the information. Whilst it is possible to scan the barcode, not all product entry is done this way whilst the fridge and freezer are open so you can scan the correct barcode.

Import water data from Health App
I use other software to track my water consumption, and that app exports the data to the iPhone Health app.
It’d be awesome if Lifesum could import water data from the Health App, it would make things much easier.

Option to edit own recipes
You should be able to modify recipes that you’ve made or want to log from the recipe book. Alternatively, being able to duplicate and modify Lifesum recipes to customize them for more accurate logging

Allow users to filter the display of foods by verified, general user entered and those I entered myself
The user entered food database is very unreliable. A filtering feature would enable the user to focus on the verified ones

New category: Supplements
More and more users (mainly people building muscles) contact us and ask for an own category for these items. The suggestion to put these things under kitchen cupboard/others does not satisfy them.
